Christophe's apartment was perfectly located and very comfortable for our family of 3. He responded to our questions quickly and was super helpful. I work for an upscale hotel chain and it was our first time using an apartment vs the free or cheap employee stays we get with my company, and it was worth it 100%. So nice to have a little kitchen space and the homey feel of the apartment. Thanks Christophe!
For the art and fashion enthusiast!
Great area of Paris! Close to markets, restaurants and the metro. Picasso’s museum is right down the street and loads of lovely vintage and high end second hand shops— Dior and Chanel!!!
I love Channel ... thanks !
Everything was good, a little noisy at night .
A fabulous week!
This apartment was a great choice. Christophe, the owner, was responsive and helpful. The apartment was perfect for my daughter and me: great location (few tourists, easy walk to metro, food, shops); clean; nice tub/shower (plenty of hot water and pressure, good towels, towel heater); compact but comfortable.
2 points of possible concern for others: 1, the second “bed” is an L-shaped couch that adds a piece to create a double bed, then you wrap a sheet around the cushions which are your “mattress.” This works fine but the cushion ridges may be an issue for some. 2, there is a significant step to get into and out of the tub, which might be difficult for some people.
Christophe- you should know that our BnB sitter, Manon, was nice but 20 minutes late. She said that she had been there at the appointed time but went to check another property because we weren’t there- which is not true. We arrived 15 minutes early and were stuck outside in the cold and wind. We had no cell or internet service to contact her. Fortunately, a kind delivery man let us in the lobby and used his phone to call her. Also, it would be helpful to know where to dispose of garbage and recycling. These are meant to be helpful, not complaints. We had a wonderful time in Paris and loved staying at your apartment. Thank you!
Thank you so much ! Christophe
Perfect place to stay
Perfect place for my daughter and I for the week, even big enough to be joined by a mother-in-law for a couple of nights. Christophe was a totally responsive host, and the representative who greeted us was when we arrived was attuned to our needs. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished, bathroom was full size, (shower was great), kitchen was adequate for preparing breakfasts and small meals, and there was a little dressing area, which could afford privacy. Location in the heart of the Marais couldn't be better. I highly recommend, even for a longer length of time!
Thank you Céline. Hope see you again. Christophe
This apartment is located in a very lovely and very accessible area. I didn't meet the owner but I can say he is attentive and responsive before and during the stay. He sent us an email making sure everything was going well. We were a party of 3. My daughters and I have just returned from spending a week in Paris. Upon arrival, a BNB sitter was waiting for us and he helped us take our luggage up to the apartment. It was nice to have someone greet us and acclimate us to the space. There is good security and at times a security guard, it was clean and everything was in working order. The sleeping area is in one space and consists of a double bed and queen size pull out sofa bed. The bathroom has a double sink, bathtub/ shower. There are storage drawers under the sinks. One drawer held extra toilet paper. There is a small closet with ample storage space plus cleaning supplies, a fan and bags for grocery shopping. The kitchen has a stovetop and microwave. You've got everything here to cook and serve. The washer and dryer are under the counter. There are more cleaning supplies and pods for the washer under the sink. There are lots of lighting options and a dining table, some guide books and very simple electrical convertors in a drawer in the living area. There is Wifi, a phone for local calls, flat screen tv with English news channels as well as French tv and a music system. I cannot say enough good things about the Marais. Every direction you walk will reveal a variety of food options, lots of restaurants, Sunday brunches, fabulous shopping, art galleries, wonderful boulangeries, lovely cafes, little grocery stores, and ample transportation. We like to walk and explore and you are within walking distance to the Place des Vosges and the Place de la Bastille. There are quite a few small museums in the area and you are steps away from the Picasso Museum. We loved this place and would definitely rent it again.
Dear Gertrude. I thank you very much for this long testimony and I am extremely happy that you have had a very good trip to Paris and to my apartment. We keep in touch. Best regards. Christophe
From metro line 8 you are a five minute walk from the stations 'Filles du Calvaire' or 'Chemin Vert.'

The 'rue de Thorigny' is one of several streets in this area famous for their beauty. You will be staying next to gorgeous historical houses, to many fantastic and interesting art galleries and, of course, to the very prestigious Picasso Museum (the most important collection of Picasso in the world). You are just a few minutes walk to the many shops close by: for food (rue de Bretagne or rue Rambuteau), for clothing (rue des Francs Bourgeois), for books, and for antiques (rue Vieille du Temple), to name just a few.
You have easy access to many museums, including: the Pompidou Center (Museum of Modern Art), the Carnavalet (History of Paris), the Lock Museum, the Cognac-Jay, the house of Victor Hugo, the Jewish Museum ...
