Great accomodations in Venice
We spent two nights in this apartment at the end of April and were more than happy with our accomodations. The bedrooms are spacious and have the most comfortable beds you could ever want. It also has a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a large, modern bathroom. The location is also great as there are some good restaurants close by and it is a quick walk to the Arsenale water-taxi stop. We were, however, a lttle concerned upon arrival (after sixteen hours of travel) as we rang the doorbell many times with no response. We kept ringing until 5-10 minutes later when someone came by and we asked him if he knew the owner. He made a phone call and the owner came out. We also asked if we could leave at noon on our departure date but were told that it had to be at 10:00AM. So, we got up early, had breakfast and cleared away, and had our bags downstairs before 10:00. I kept the key so that we could get back into our building to collect our bags from the lobby at noon and head to the train station. When I went upstairs to the apartment to drop off the key, the apartment still had not been cleaned for the next occupants which made me wonder why it was necessary to be out at 10:00AM? In spite of these minor inconveniences (which is why I gave four stars and not five), would definitely rent this place again as it was so clean, comfortable and conveniently located.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
The cleaning lady was supposed to arrive at 10.00.
It has a number of apartments to be cleaned.
If it came later than expected it is not my fault.
A truly delightful apartment with everything you could need. The views over the lagoon are brilliant with the thrill of the hustle and bustle of Venetian life on the water. The terrace is a wonderful place to relax after a hard day of exploring. The apartment itself is very well appointed and very well located in terms of services. The owners were very helpful and extremely warm in their greeting. I really recommend this apartment.

"This apartment was perfect! Venice being a very busy and touristy city, I loved the fact that the apartment was 10 minutes away from Piazza San Marco on Via Garibaldi. After a hectic day of visiting and walking, it was a great relief to arrive in this clean, comfortable and quiet apartment and relax on the terrace, which has a wonderful view on the lagoon. Sipping a glass of wine while looking at the activities on the water was heaven! Also, Via Garibaldi, a charming street, has all the shops, restaurants, grocers and bars your heart desires. I stayed three weeks and it felt like home! Thank you Homelidays for a great service and thank you Sandro for being a welcoming and charming homeowner!

"The apartment was superbly equipped, had everything needed even for a longer stay and even more. Terrace with a lovely view would be great for summer breakfasts and evening drinks, which was not possible during our February stay. Very close to the Arsenale boat stop, in a quiet area but only about 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. I just regret I had not a chance to meet the owners, even though I managed our stay with them."
