Modern, spacious, private, and clean

  • 5 of 5

The villa is modern, spacious, and very clean. The house has wonderful views of mountains from the front, and the sea, Greek islands and Turkey from the rear. The house is very well equipped with kitchen items, towels, bedding and outside furniture. There is a single air conditioning unit, but this does a good job of cooling the whole house if internal doors are left open. The house has one room with a toilet and a sink, another room with just a toilet, and a third room with a sink, a shower, and a bath with shower. There is one double bedroom and two twin rooms. There is a large rear terrace, a small front terrace and generous gardens to the front and rear.

The location worked very well for us being 30 minutes drive west of the airport and 15 minutes east of Kos town, meaning that many of the attractions are only a short drive away. The house is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the nearest beach, and there is bus stop right outside the house, so it would be possible to stay here without renting a car. The house felt private, but not isolated.

The owners, Agnes and Vince, were very hospitable. They provided a cot and high chair for our daughter. Offered to help organize a rental car, and very helpful with any questions that we had. They were also very flexible about the check-in and check-out times due to our late flights.

We enjoyed Kos much more than we were expecting. The people were friendly, the food was good, the weather was great, and there were a surprising number of places to visit. This house made a great base for exploring the island, and I would happily stay here again were I to re-visit Kos.

Lovely Villa

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed at this lovely villa in june 2014. The owners Agnes and Vincent were so friendly and helpful. Agnes was there waiting for us at the airport as promised. On the way to the villa she stopped off and ordered a takeaway for us. Upon arrival at the villa we had an extensive guided tour. The villa was spotlessly clean. The fridge was stocked with beer, wine and home ground vegetables. We also found tasty treats for breakfast in the food cupboard. Then soon afterwards our takeaway arrived and they left us to enjoy our meal. Vincent promised to take us to the supermarket the next day at 12:00. I awoke early for breakfast and sat on this amazing balcony with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. It was so tranquil and quiet, but i saw the odd car and cyclist go past so didn't feel too isolated. Vincent was true to his word and turned up on time and waited patiently whilst we did a big shop. He also offered to chauffeur us around to the nearby beach resort and town centre. There was a very reliable bus service which stopped near the villa every hour, just 10 min ride into kos town. If you want to get away from it all and unwind this is the perfect place. I felt more like a local than a tourist as felt we were in the heart of kos yet bars, restaurants and shops were just a 10 minute ride away. The weather was gorgeous, 37 degrees and we didn't see a cloud in the sky. There was enough shade and breeze to escape the heat if required. The villa was spacious and well equipped set in a very large plot. We spent our days lazing about on the sun loungers, reading, enjoying the views and the sunshine. It was lovely to be in such a rural setting where we could see goats in the neighbouring fields and hear a chorus of cockerels throughout the day. We had several bbqs whilst watching the spectacular sunsets from the balcony. I cannot speak highly enough of Agnes, Vincent and their lovely daughter. They made us feel like part of the family and nothing was too much trouble for them. Agnes even arranged for her father to drive us back to the airport as they were both in work at that time. We would love to visit again soon but would probably hire a car for a few days the next time to explore this fascinating island.

"Superbly located - close...

  • 5 of 5

"Superbly located - close to the sea, a bus stop, local supermarket and about 10 minutes away from Kos town, the house is also very spacious, with a massive furnished terrace overlooking the seaside. There were 5 of us staying there and we found everything we needed - all the cooking facilities, including the grill, furniture, towels, a hairdryer and even some DVD''s for the rainy day. But probably the best thing about this house were the owners - they picked us from the airport and met us at the house with coffee, biscuits and Greek sweets. They also showed us around and were always there to offer advice or help: starting from introducing us to a local farmer where we bought super-cheap fresh vegetables and helping us to get us to Kos and sort out the motorbike and car rental, ending up with taking us to the local bar and offering us several drinks. Without a shadow of doubt I will recommend this location to my friends."

"Very friendly welcome fr...

  • 5 of 5

"Very friendly welcome from the owners, who are also very helpful and live close by. New house very clean and well equipped for the six people in our group. House has a wonderful large terrace with a sea view, for sun or shade, at any time of the day and a lovely spot to watch the sunset or sunrise. Handy bus stop alongside the house to get to Kos Town and then other parts of the island. Very regular hourly service. Cheaper to buy several tickets at once at the terminal in Kos Town However,a car would be handy for the supermarket which is 1500m away and you have to walk part of the way along a main road. The small road close to the beach is very good for cycling. Would highly recommend this house. And you don't need to buy water to drink, the tap water even tastes good!"
