The apartment is adjacent to the “Parque Nacional del Este” (East National Park) of the Dominican Republic and is located 5 Km from the fishing village of Bayahibe; it measures 68 m² with all amenities and is fully equipped. It is situated 30 metres from the private beach of the Cadaques Caribe development, which features a large pool with a bar, a smaller one facing the sea, gardens, a water park and great amenities including shops, bars, cafe and restaurant.
It is located close to the town, La Romana, and is within two hours from Santo Domingo.
Its location allows beautiful day trips to Isla Saona, Isla Catalina, and Rio Chavon, walking around the “Parque Nacional del Este” (East National Park) by foot or horseback, or simply relaxing in the comfortable private beach facilities.

DO NOT STAY HERE

We arrived and were so excited for our stay here…until we got to the apartment. Lucy met us out front of the lobby and takes you to the room. You have to check in and get wristbands. She showed us around and then left. It was so hot in the living room so turned on the ac. It wasn’t blowing cold air. Then I went to turn on the TV. It didn’t work. I tried to close the shades and they were stuck. I looked for the internet password which isn’t displayed anywhere so I had to text Lucy, the property contact. She sent it to me. I went to plug in our devices and the power didn’t work. I went around the house and only two plugs were working. I plugged my phone into the bathroom plug to see if it work and when I pulled it out the whole socket came out. Then we noticed napkins shoved in between the fan and ceiling. We contacted the two property people and didn’t hear anything for about 30 minutes. I then called VRBO. They finally sent someone over to look at the ac and the whole compressor needed to be replaced-we were told Lucy checked everything before our arrival which is a lie. They told us that it wouldn’t be fixed for a day or two. The guy reset the breaker and said one of the fuses was loose so it could happen again. The washer wasn’t working and when the guy finally got it going there was no drying rack. I would never stay here or use VRBO. They were giving me a whole run around about the refund so I contacted my cc company. What a headache for nothing!

Great resort and apartment

The resort has a pier going out over the ocean with lounge chairs both shaded and sunny. You can use the ladders to go into the clear blue water. Lots of loungers on the beach too plus a beach bar/restaurant with music and fun vibe. Then there are the swimming pools everywhere including a weekend waterslide park! The apartment is super close to the beach and just above the gym and convenience store. The bed was comfortable and it had a great sleeper sofa in the living room. We had a great trip.

Beautiful

The location was wonderful. It was close to the beach. I did not have to walk far for anything. The entire process was smooth. I had to leave early but would definitely want the opportunity to return & enjoy the full amenities of the place.
