Nice place, second home

We stayed in this place for a month (February 2017). Very nice and safe neighborhood. Beach is 15 minutes away walking. There is also a free trolley from 41 st avenue corner with Meridian. It will drop you 2 blocks away from the beach.

As previous reviewer was saying, a big problem is the parking. After few days I received a 23$ ticket for parking. I can say I was lucky, I get there just in time, there were about to call tow truck to take my car, it will cost me another 200$. After this, I tried to move the car every 3-4 hours. Also, I will have my wheels turned all the way because I've seen when they towed another car, they did it from the back

There are few Jewish stores and restaurants on 41 st avenue with home made good food. Friday after 17:00 almost everything is closed until Sunday morning.

Internet connection was very good. I talked with some neighbors from the other building, their internet was quite bad.

Again, same as previous reviewer, there was some noise from the other apartment for few days, some guys talking very loud and watching tv on high volume very late.

It was a good experience and we would like to come back.

A Pleasant Stay in Miami Beach....

I recently stayed in this studio apartment for an extended period of three months: October-December 2016. As a single occupant, it had more than enough space to live in comfortably. Here are my impressions, good and bad, although the positive attributes far outweigh any negative ones....


-Immediate and friendly correspondences with owner when booking.

-Great location. At the end of the street and next to a school. Very quiet setting.

-Secure building with code access front gate.

-Beautiful landscaping on the property. Reminiscent of a tropical jungle.

-Waterfront property with shared access dock and canal view.

-Clean and well maintained buildings and courtyard.

-UNIT IS BIGGER THAN PICTURES SHOW. A most welcome surprise.

-Well layed out floor plan.

-Small private balcony overlooking street. Nice to have door open for fresh air.

-Efficient central a/c system.

- Basic cable channels.

-Fold out bed was surprisingly comfortable with firm foam mattress.

-Continued efficient correspondences with owner throughout stay.


-Parking. If you have a car, you must be aware that on street parking within a four block radius is by permit only. Parking at night is not an issue. BUT, you are only free to park in any space for a two hour period unless you have a permit. You cannot obtain the permit from Miami Beach City Hall unless you are an owner or can prove you have a minimum one year lease as a tenant. For the first four days I actually moved my car every two hours, and then finally decided to take my chances and left it parked. With all that said, I never received a ticket. If you don't need a car and can use Uber or a bike during your stay, I would do so.

-While the building is quiet, and the residents for the most part are respectful, I had the unfortunate experience of having the next door neighbor use his vacation apartment for two weekends during my stay. A 30-something Canadian who is a very heavy walker, a loud talker, and a late night partier, who really has no consideration or awareness of his neighbors. I pounded on his door one morning at 4AM to express my displeasure at his behavior. Thankfully he was quiet after that, and left the next day. THE APARTMENT IS QUIET, but be aware of this one unfortunate flaw... and don't be afraid to say something if it happens during your stay.

Overall: Great location. Clean and comfortable. Secure. Plenty of sunlight. Easy and friendly correspondences with owner. A pleasant stay in Miami.

Well kept apartment with easy access to downtown

My wife and I enjoyed our time here. The apartment was well kept and set in a quiet area but with easy access to everywhere. Parking could be difficult sometimes but not impossible.

Very quiet, convenient appartment, well located in an excellent neighborhood. Nice common garden terrace overlooking the canal. Well equipped, we only missed a better working WiFi signal.

Read absolutely!!!!! Attention, do not be fooled.

When we arrived the house was completely dirty, sanded hair and dust. There is not a sofa bed but a sofa without a mattress, we stayed for a month on a hard sofa, resulting in a holiday with back pain. Furthermore, the house is dominated by ants. A week after the arrival, the door handle of the terrace was broken, rusty and about 8 years ago, as the technician assured us, who changed it to "our expenses". The worst thing is the indifference of the owner who has not repaid anything, and that did not respond to emails.We have now contacted a lawyer who is helping us, not only for the payment of money, but on principle and for being teased. He responds to the emails until the initial payment of the house enters, on the contrary it seems very nice and available. Be wary. I hope to help not to make my own mistake by reading the reviews of others.
