By choosing Locanda Le Panche as a single holiday home you will be able to enjoy privately its interior spaces as well as the garden and pool!
The four units are, in fact, located along the same corridor, thus creating the atmosphere of a big house, though ensuring all guests the privacy and comfort of 4 en-suite bedrooms.
Apartment Tradition, with its extendable table and its cosy atmosphere, can seat up to 12 people at the dining table.
The 3 suites 'Passion', 'Elegance' and 'Glamour' are equipped with king-size beds, the latter two also with small-double sofa beds. Together with the loft bedroom of apartment 'Tradition', they can comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults and 4 children (or 10 adults).
In conclusion, Locanda Le Panche offers you the chance of a holiday with your friends or your family in a refined and charming setting, at a super affordable price!
We called it 'Old Inn Le Panche' to emphasise the building's history that is lost in ancient times, when pilgrims from Northern Europe stopped here, along the banks of the river Reno, on their way towards Rome. We restored it in 2010 in order to make it a cosy and comfortable place. We used traditional materials and ancient furniture to maintain its original character and charm.
A wide parking and a large garden provide access to the 'Locanda'. At ground floor, in the oldest and most fascinating part of the building, there is a very much appreciated restaurant where you can taste the authentic traditional Tuscan cuisine.
A gate provides access to the area exclusively reserved for our guests. On the South side of the building there is the private garden with swimming pool and the entrance for the guests. The garden is provided of sun beds and deck chairs to relax on, as well as barbecue, tables and chairs for outdoor dining. The pool is equipped with a heat pump.
At first floor, there are four charming studio apartments decorated with the typical taste of a traditional Tuscan home (terracotta floors and wood ceilings) and a touch of modern design.
You can choose to rent the whole property and get a wonderful holiday home with private garden and pool for a very fair price or just one studio apartment starting from 200 euros per week.
I am the manager of “GMG Holidays”, a small family business operating with its self-catering properties near the town of Pistoia, a few dozen minutes away from other important art cities like Florence, Lucca and Pisa as well as from the beaches of Versilia.
What we aim at offer you is the chance to spend a relaxing holiday in the nature of a green valley set between the town of Pistoia and the Tuscan Apennine Mountains. This is a well known and loved winter holiday destination, famous for the ski slopes of Abetone, but also an enchanting holiday spot between spring and autumn, thanks to its pretty paths and silent ancient forests.
Our properties are charming historic buildings which have been recently renovated and fully equipped to meet the needs of increasingly demanding tourists. In fact, my father and I are both passionate travellers and this helps us to empathize with the potential demands of our guests. We are truly committed to your satisfaction and looking forward to welcoming you to one of our properties! We will do our best to make you feel at home!
Mr. Davide Ferrari purchased this cottage in 2010
We really appreciated our stay at the locanda. After visiting numerous Tuscany historical sites (all of them easily reachable from there) by hot summer days, we were happy to return every evening to the fresh air of the Appennines enjoying the swimming pool and relaxing on a green lawn with beautiful mountain scenery in the background. The property is very clean and decorated with a lot of taste. The owners are charming and give you any necessary information to make your stay really enjoyable. Pistoia with some nice old villages around was interesting to visit as well. We were also glad to discover a number of good restaurants near the property and in the Pistoia area.
The locanda is certainly the place to come back to when visiting Tuscany next time.
The Inn is located in the Tuscan Apennines area, 17 km North of Pistoia in a lush valley where the Reno River runs parallel to the State Road 66, which connects Florence (40 min. drive) to the tourist destinations of our area, among which the winter resort of Abetone stands out.
Because of its position, this may be an ideal base for tourists interested in visiting the art cities of Tuscany as well as for nature lovers, aiming to discover the Apennines, in every season.
Visitors to this area can enjoy the very well preserved environment and breath-taking landscapes. This is a perfect destination for beautiful walks and it is full of trekking routes to enjoy on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike, it is rich of small lakes and rivers for canoeing and fishing and it offers many opportunities for practicing all kinds of outdoor sports.
In winter Pistoia Apennines are famous for ski resorts such as Abetone and Cutigliano. Moreover, all year round, the Mountains of Tuscany offer to their guests dozens of cultural and recreational events, such as music and folklore festivals, gastronomic fairs and medieval reenactments.
