Wonderful Experience!

  • 5 of 5

I booked Rose's Bed & Breakfast for my parents and they had a wonderful experience. Rose was so accommodating and attentive to their needs and kept me updated from the moment I booked. They raved about her beautiful home, garden and fabulous breakfasts. I would highly recommend a stay! The location is fantastic, close to all major transport and the area itself is lovely, with plenty of cute restaurants, pubs and shopping. Rose was also very helpful in helping us navigate to where we wanted to visit, giving us tips, maps and she has a whole collection of books and travel guides on London. Thanks for everything, Rose!

Owner's Response: I am so glad the visit was so successful and that your parents enjoyed themselves in London. I hope the rest of their trip around Europe went well and they are safely home with lots of stories to tell.

A charming house perfectly located for access to sights and attractions

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay with Rose. As a host Rose was warm and welcoming and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. She has a vast knowledge of London and the endless things to do and experience there. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well furnished with everything one would need. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room, served on our first evening with a delicious slice of home made cake! Breakfasts were amazing and set us up for our busy days out. Can not recommend this wonderful little find highly enough. Thank you so much Rose it was truly a pleasure to meet you.

Felt like home!

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from our trip to London and can't tell you how much we enjoyed staying with Rose at her B&B. The location is wonderful - quieter than the central parts of the city and great for coming back to after a full day of sightseeing. Our rooms were setup nicely with comfortable beds, linens and all of the little extras you might forget (hairdryer, adaptors, earplugs, etc.).

But, the best part of this place is Rose herself! She is a lovely host and made us feel at home immediately. She walked us through getting to certain tube stations, buses, restaurants and gave us great tips all week. She also made us an amazing English breakfast every morning! I can't tell you how much we looked forward to that every morning before taking off for the day.

When we got back and someone asked my daughter what her favorite thing in London was, she said "Rose"! We are hoping to go back to visit London again in the future and will definitely stay with Rose if her B&B is available.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words. It was lovely to have you and the family to stay and to hear your enjoyment of all your travel in UK and Ireland and the London sites that you visited. I am glad you enjoyed your breakfasts - it gives me great pleasure to know this is an important part of your stay and we have the chance to talk about your plans for the day. Anna is having a wonderful childhood with the trips that you are giving her and how lovely to have such an appreciative daughter.

What a find! Great b&b in an attractive part of London.

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a three night stay at this lovely guesthouse in Fulham. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and everything we could have possibly needed was provided for our stay. Roz gave us a warm welcome and was exceptionally helpful, providing us with lots of information about the area and even a lift to the river boat stop at Putney Bridge. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked for us at a time of our choosing; tea , coffee, water and biscuits were available in our room. Transport links into the west end and central London were very good and there were many excellent independent restaurants in the locality to sample. All in all, a great place to stay and much better value than an anonomous hotel. Highly recommended!

Owner's Response: What a great stay - Chelsea Flower Show in the sunshine on RHS Members' Day, pre-booked tickets for David Hockney Exhibition, and locally the Hurlingham Club and the gardens of Fulham Palace in the amazing weather before the bank holiday weekend. I am so glad you enjoyed the boat trip from Putney Pier - it is a marvellous way to get into central London, or to see Tate Modern before getting the connecting Tate river Bus to Tate Britain. Come back soon!

If you're looking to be well rested, fed, and informed, I recommend staying here!

  • 5 of 5

If we could give this property infinite stars we would. We were so thrilled with this property, especially with the owner, Rose. After staying in numerous hostels and other VRBO properties, Rose's presence, kindness, delicious homemade breakfast and treats were exactly what we needed! Before our arrival, Rose was incredibly detailed in her instructions for different modes of travel, directions, and places to eat nearby. In addition, she often updated us on events happening in the area. Upon arrival, Rose was prepared with maps to help us navigate the city via bus or train. Because of Rose, we were able to enjoy London well rested , well fed and with ease. Our stay in London was a short one, but Rose went out of her way to help us see as much of it as we could! It was incredibly hard to leave Rose and her home, but we are immensely grateful for the experience and look forward to our return!

Owner's Response: It gave me great pleasure to welcome you to London and to make sure you got the most out of your very short time here at the end of your ten country European tour. It is always lovely to meet visitors from a part of the world, this time USA, that one knows very little about and to hear about your lives, and i am sure that you three young engineers will go far - you are courteous, charming and appreciative ambassadors for yourselves, your families and your country. Thank you for your very kind words, i enjoyed looking after you! Come back one day and see some more of the country.

Gorgeous place to stay with fantastic host

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Rose's place. When communicating with her before we arrived she was very quick to respond and send us very helpful information. The house is even lovelier than described in the pictures because of Rose who is a very welcoming and open-minded person. You have everything you need (even hot water-bottles, kettle, books, brochures about what do do in London) and she provides a delicious breakfast for you.

We totally recommend this place for everyone who wants to spend a lovely time in London. And what's more: Fulham and its surrounding area (Fulham Park, Fulham Palace, Fulham Broadway) is very nice with all the lovely shops, pubs and cafés.

We'll definitely be back!
