About the property

A cozy apartment with 2 bedrooms and extensive views of the Matterhorn.

Ideally situated apartment, very well equipped (completely renovated in 2008), Includes living room with dining area, 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, separate, fully equipped kitchen. 2 balconies on South and North sides with extended views, on the Matterhorn to the South and on the valley of Saas to the North.

Zermatt is a village without fuel cars, alive all year round but comparatively quiet due to the absence of cars. All conveniences are situated within short walking distance (150 to 600 m).

Off season, we are happy to rent for less than a week, the minimum is 4 nights - 5 days. Reservations at the earliest one month in advance in that case.

Our local manager prepares the apartment for you and will assist you in case of problems.

Great place to stay in Zermatt

Wonderful apartment in a great location, close to the train station, shops, restaurants, bakery etc. Spacious, clean and well equipped apartment.

Unfortunately the washing machine is no longer free, you have to buy a card for 50 CHF! Not great when you have two young children and have been away from home for a week before arriving! Contacted Mrs Santos the manager who was very friendly and offered the use of her machine - Thank you!

Loads to see and do in Zermatt, beautiful walks, lakes, via ferrata etc, only negative is no outdoor (or indoor) public pool.

Excellent flat in the most convenient place for anything

I would like to thank the owner of this wonderful place. Everything was ready, clean and more than expected when we arrived. The flat itself is great with brilliant layout good for a family of 4. The views are just amazing from all windows and two balconies are useful. The kitchen was perfect too. Lift was very useful. Ski room was perfect to keep everything dry and safe. The proximity to the train station was just spot on. The flat is in a quiet area - very peaceful. One minute walk from the flat is the free ski bus and across the road is the excellent hotel with the pool/Jacuzzi you can use for an extra small fee. Restaurants and shopping are all nearby and overall you cannot dream of having the flat in the better place. If you are located closer to Matterhorn express, it is so much noisier. Once again thank you and I will not hesitate to come back for another holiday, this time in summer.

This charming, comfortable and convenient apartment is spacious, very clean and very well appointed

We had a very nice holiday in Zermatt and were very comfortable in the apartment. It had all the modern conveniences that one would need for a short holiday and the furniture and bedding were very comfortable. It is very modern, clean and spacious and has a stunning view of the Matterhorn from the living room and even from our bed. There is also a secure ski room on the ground floor.

It is situated very close to the town centre but in a quiet location and only a short walk to the Gornergrat Mountain Railway station (250m) and 300 m to the Zermatt railway station.The listing description is accurate.

Fast Wifi and a modern television and DVD player were available.

If we were to return to Zermatt i would not think twice before booking the apartment again. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Perfect Apartment in a Perfect Location

We had the pleasure of staying in this appartment as a family (including 17 & 18 year old siblings). The appartment is so spacious and has every thing you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equiped with condiments to get you started. The location is perfect for skiing, a 2 min walk to the bus stop or a five min walk to Gornagrat railway.

There is the added bonus of being very close proximity to the local shops but just on the edge of the busier, noisier end of town, therefore at night time the area was very peaceful.

We could not fault this apartment in any way and would not hesitate in renting it again should we be fortunate to return to Zermatt. If you get the chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Super holidays in Zermatt

The appartment is very clean and cosy. It is well situated with respect to village center, railway station and skibus stop. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. Two bedrooms make it perfect for the family with 2 children or two couples. The owners of appartment are very cooperative, we have got all necessary information for our winter ski holidays.

Small and charming detail - the bouquet of fresh tulips in the living room to welcome the guests ))).

I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

Zermatt is a car-free resort. It can only be accessed by means of public transport or taxi - minibus. In the resort: electric taxis (see photo).

By plane: Arrival at Zurich or Geneva, then by train (main lines departure every hour from both airports) to Zermatt

By train: this is the easiest way to access the resort. Zermatt Train Station is 300 meters from the building. From Zurich or Geneva, it takes about 3:40.

By car, take the motorway: Follow the A9 / E62 to Sierre, then N9/E62 and follow the signs to Zermatt before entering Visp. Leave the car in Täsch (garages) and take the shuttle train to Zermatt Täsch. You can also charter a minibus in Täsch.

Within Zermatt, you will walk, or hire an electric taxi for long distances or if you have luggage; Electric shuttle bus provde a regular service for accessing cable-cars - but the two closest departure stations are 250 and 350 m away, respectively. The shuttles are free for ski pass holders.

An access map to the building will be provided with the rental agreement.

The skiing domain is exceptional, culminating at 3800 m. Third Alps ski area in terms of miles of trails spread between Italy and Switzerland, with a maximum vertical drop of 2300 meters, it is open all year as high mountain summer ski is always available. You can rent a complete sports equipment in local sports shops

Lifts: Gornergrat (train) to 250 m, Sunnega (funicular) to 350 m, 100 m shuttle. for the Klein Matterhorn (gondola and cable car station 1.2 km from the property)

Hundreds of kilometers of hiking, of every difficulty level, are open in the summer, many routes are available for mountain biking. One can practice paragliding in good weather, summer and winter. Two rinks, one of which turns into tennis courts in summer, allow recreational skating or ice hockey. Several indoor pools are open all year.

Zermatt is renowned for its gastronomy. Many restaurants offer cuisine from the Valais (Whymperstube, Zermatterstübli, Café du Pont), grills (Stockhorn Restaurant, Café Gypsy, etc..) Japanese food (Fuji of Zermatt, Myoko), Italian (Al Bosco, Alexandre )or Chinese cuisine (China Garden), and you'll discover amazing mountain restaurants (Zum See, Fluhalp among Vroni to Findelen ...). List and phones (it is often necessary to book) at the Office of Tourism. An updated list is available in the apartment.

Après-ski attractions: the Papperla, craved by the younger generation for years, the Village, the Hotel Post ...

Shopping: one finds everything in Zermatt with the exception of major fashion brands! Bahnhofstrasse stands out for a row of shops where the finest watches and jewelery available to Europe attract the would-be buyer. Sports stores offer equipment and clothing, and advise you with kindness and competence - in your language. There are opportunities to suit all pockets, however, and you can bring an original souvenir without breaking the bank.

Despite its deep and Valais mountain character, Zermatt holds an international environment; tourists from around the world are everywhere almost all year round, and the welcome is multilingual.
