Cozy Cabin in the Pines Townhome in Keystone CAB13

Great comfortable and cozy condo.

  • 4 of 5

We really liked the condo- it was comfortable and in a good location only a short drive from the Keystone lots. We cooked 6 meals and found everything in the kitchen to be sufficient. Living/dining area were comfortable and it was nice to have a bathroom on that floor. There are 2 shared hot tubs for the area. They key in the condo didn't work on one, and the other was already open so not really sure how hot tub access usually works. The 3 downstairs bedrooms were comfortable although the 2nd queen room is a little tight. We struggled a little bit with temperature regulation in the bedrooms (too hot or cold) and the upstairs got a little hot.

Only major gripe is that the heating unit (also downstairs near the bedrooms) made a terrible high-pitched squealing noise whenever it ran (which was often.) Not too bad if you were upstairs but no fun for trying to sleep. We called the property management people but they did not remedy it during our stay. We also found it to be a bit of a hassle to have to go to Frisco to pick up the keys for the unit.

Overall a great place to stay, but it would have been nice if the property managers would actually answer the phone after 5 PM or on weekends to address our needs.
