Our 1000 SF guest home is nestled into the far side of Canyons Resort, where you can have first tracks out your front door before the public is able to get to this side of the mountain. This 2 bedroom 2 bath guest house has a full kitchen, fireplace, dining for 6, a private hot tub and heated floors. Enjoy the dramatic mountain and forest views from the picture windows or from the private hot tub nestled in the back. Washer / dryer in guest home, garage parking for 1 car. Owner is nearby and happy to assist with any special accommodations from grocery service to local baby-sitters. Please note: Ski in / out is dependent on Canyons Resort lift openings, and is not guaranteed as the owner cannot control weather / snow levels.

We owned another vacation home in Park City and fell in love with the Colony, where we built our dream ski in/ ski out home that we now live in full time. We built a guest house on the property so we can share our love of the mountain with others!
We always skied through the Colony and dreamed that one day we might live here, so we finally made that dream a reality and want to show others why we love Park City and this neighborhood!
The owner was very attentive. The unit was well stocked and more than comfortable. Our favorites were the hot tub and the private ski in/ski out. We will be back.
We just returned from three days skiing and stayed at this guest house. It was the perfect place for us and our colllege-age son. The guest house itself has everything you would need. Very clean, well supplied, sensibly organized. Homeowners live adjacent in the main house and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Home is quite a ways away from the ski area base, located ski in/out at the very top of Canyons area, accessed by Daybreak lift. Recent warm weather meant the location high on the mountain gave us the quickest possible access to highest quality conditions. Easy to accesss good ski terrain from the house and easy to get back in from the slopes. We thought the price was fair and would definitely consider staying in this guest house again in the future.
My family and I just returned from a trip to Park city and had a great time. We were initially staying at one of the big resorts and last minute decided to look at some local housing options. I found this guest house and recognized the unique opportunity to be amongst beautiful homes and also have ski in and ski out high up on the mountain, with full kitchen and amenities.
The guest house was very comfortable and spacious. Having your own garage space also made it very convenient. The owner Julie was very accessible and available if you needed her to be but respect your privacy if that's what you want. Everything is planned so well that we did not need any assistance, even when it came to our arrival. We were able to just let ourselves in.
My kids loved it because they were able to play outback in the woods and build a "luge track" and sled down through all the trees and snow.
The biggest plus is the location. Its located almost at the top of the mountain on the Canyonside and can ski in and ski out. One little secret I discovered is you can drop in and as long as you stay on the higher mountain (Dreamcatcher) you don't require a lift ticket. I don't recommend this as a way to bypass paying the fees that the mountain needs to operate, but when you have a family on the third day that does not want to go out, but you want to just put in a few runs, you can.
The only caveat, and by no means a negative, is that it is located about 20 minutes up a very winding mountainous road from the base of the canyons. You definitely need a vehicle if you want to go anywhere, so plan ahead. The other caveat is if you have family that are beginning skiers, they will not be able to ski in and ski out from the location. They are all blue runs around the house (albeit they are very easy blue runs and almost green) but any advanced beginner skier that can control their stops can easily go down Winters Way, Panorama and Harmony (our favorite run that meandered through all the cool homes). My kids were in ski school for three days and then on the fourth day was able to ski all of the required run's to get in and out of the home.
If you are a family that loves the resort lifestyle and has to have restaurants within walking distance...this is not the place for you, but if you enjoy the mountains and a true skiing experience , then you will love it. My family and I already planning for next year. Thanks Julie!
We have stayed there the past 2 ski seasons and love it. With the location right at the top of the canyons, we are able to sleep in a little and still get a couple of runs in before people reach this part of the mountain from the base. The inside amenities are great and updated (stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops in kitchen/bathroom, big screen TV) and there is a private hot tub. The views from the condo can't be beat, and the peace and quiet is a nice departure from other condo locations in Park City.
My family and I had a great vacation! The guest house was warm and cozy! Beautiful views from every window. We loved the hot tub! The kitchen had everything we needed as well. The heated bathroom floors were fantastic, especially after a day of skiing! Our favorite part was the early morning runs all to ourselves. We highly recommend staying here!
I took my family here in February and we had a great time. Two storms rolled through while we were there and I enjoyed getting on the mountain and down to the Tombstone lift before most people at the base had loaded on the first chair. On both powder days I felt like I had a 30-60 minute jump on the crowds. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are clean and tasteful. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. It was just what we were looking for and I highly recommend this place to others.
