We had a wonderful time in this house and in Gundogan.I must say that everything fitted with the description and we enjoyed a lot our time there.
Great terrasse with beautiful view; all equipment were fine (including TV and macbook set). House design is modern, very nice and very clean.
Charming little market downtown every friday; supermarkets located in the village at 3km.
Fish restaurants down the hill.
Several beaches in a range of 10km with each of them astouding views.
Villa Manzara is situated in the fishing village of Gündogan, a 45 minutes drive from the airport of Bodrum (Milas). Daily, various flights from all major airports in Europe leave for Bodrum. After having made your reservation, you will receive comprehensive directions to Villa Manzara. We can also reserve a rental car for you. This means that at the airport, someone with your name sign will be waiting for you.
From Villa Manzara, it is a few minutes walk to the sea. On the waterfront there are various jetties, which offer the opportunity to swim, lounge or fish. If one follows the esplanade along the waterfront, one arrives in Gündogan (10 minute walk), with its beach, various trendy café’s, restaurants (with live music) and marina. Gündogan is a tantalising mix of an authentic fishing village and a vibrant tourism hot spot.
Bodrum’s nickname ‘St. Tropez of Turkey’ is well deserved. It is vibrant town with an exuberance of boutiques and restaurants. In the ancient world, Halikarnassos was one of the seven wonders of the world. Nowadays, it is also Europe’s biggest open air discothèque. Apart from that, the Bodrum peninsula offers a lot of activities. Amongst others: sailing, golf (there is a magnificent 18-holes golf course in the middle of a bird sanctuary), diving (Bodrum is well known for its water fauna and ship wrecks), and more…
