Clean & comfortable apartment in a great neighbourhood
Our family of four had three nights in this great apartment! It was sparkling clean upon our arrival and Marcel made us feel welcome. It was nice to stay in a less touristy neighbourhood with the option to hop on the Metro and be downtown quickly. We recommend l'Avenue for breakfast - it was so good we went back on our second day!
We all had a great time in Montreal. 2 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for all to relax and unwind. Quaint bistro area. I would definitely recommend. Marcel was fabulous! Very friendly and accommodating!
Super comfy house in a fun neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. We slept very well here. The wifi was good.
Comfy and convenient
We spent one week of the Montreal Jazz Festival at this two bedroom apartment on the ground level with a bright dining area overlooking a private patio. Though we drove up, we chose to use public transportation which was easy with a bus stop on the corner and a metro stop just two blocks away and only four stops from the Place d’ Arts. My son is a vegan and we found great fresh markets two or three blocks away. We would definitely stay here in the future.
Plateau Mont- Royal
I highly recommend this property if you want to stay in an awesome part of Montreal. It is on a lovely street, right around the corner from great shops and restaurants and very close to the Metro where you can buy a 3 day pass for $19 which includes subway and buses. Very comfortable and clean apartment with a lovely place to sit outside at the back. You won't be sorry if you rent this place.
We loved the location of the property. Close to several major grocery stores, the metro and one of our favorite outings - to Mont Royal. We were also close enough to walk down to the Old Port, Chinatown and Notre-Dame (you could take the metro when it rained). Walking to the various areas was a great experience given all of the little shops, books stores and cafes along the way.
The apartment was clean and ready when we arrived at 12:30 am. Two bedrooms and a couch that we didn't realize until the last night had a sleeper sofa that pulled out making it a queen size bed. Plenty of towels and household goods that meant all we had to buy was groceries and a few toiletries. The WiFi was great and easily accessible (once you realized the password was in the French part of the information page).
There was a small patio on the backside, although it took a few tries for us to figure out the sliding glass door (hint - pull in and then slide to the right).
We took a cab there from the airport. For those of you that drive there, there seemed to be limited parking, however, I am sure that Marcel would be able to assist.
The information book there provided very basic information. We would have liked to see more - a map with the recommend grocery stores, a location to the metro along with cost of metro, closest bank to withdraw money, and a few other useful bits of information for the area. Also, the WiFi password in English was incorrect - make sure to look at the section in French to get the correct password. A checkout list would also be helpful, although leaving the place in the same shape as you found it generally is a good plan. We really enjoyed our trip and stay at this flat. Thank you Marcel.
