This is an unbelievable house and price for the best location. It is within walking distance of everything downtown in a family friendly neighborhood. You can walk to all Riverfront attractions and restaurants. It is a luxuriously and recently restored historic home that incorporates convenience and comfort with warmth and character. It is a legal nightly rental.

This Victorian home is one of many that the owner has restored in downtown Chattanooga. Other homes by the owner were featured on HGTV and in 'Southern Living Magazine'. Any visitor will enjoy the quality and style that this house provides.

This beautiful Victorian home is located in the oldest neighborhood in downtown Chattanooga. The historic tree-lined walking neighborhood is a few minutes walk to all of downtown Chattanooga and its sites. The neighborhood is beside UTC and Erlanger Hospital. The owner has multiple vacation rental properties either next door or within a 2 block walk. This allows for larger groups to be near each other.

The impeccable restoration of this home, retaining all of the 1897 character, but incorporating a modern style allows a relaxing and comfortable experience. The home flows easily with an open floor plan and spacious living spaces. The eat-in kitchen boasts state of the art stainless appliances and granite counters. Two of the three bedrooms have queen beds, with one additional bedroom that has two double beds and a twin. There is also a upstairs lounging area that has a easily convertible double sleeper bed that can used with larger groups. There are luxurious linens that allow for great sleep away from home.

The bedrooms effortlessly accommodate nine people. And with the sleeper sofa the home can sleep 11 guests. The master bedroom suite has its own fireplaces, walk-in shower, claw foot tub and double sinks. However there is a second hall door that can allow families to share this large bath. It is a haven in itself.

There is a large upper balcony that sits among the treetops. The den hosts a flat screen HDTV, fireplace, and comfortable leather sofas. There is a cozy front porch with a bench and a swing to relax outside.

The homes location allows minutes access for business travelers or visitors to any of the local businesses, preparatory schools, hospitals, or UTC. For the cost of any local downtown hotel you have the comfort and privacy of a 2500 sq. ft. in this home. You can enjoy all of the downtown and riverfront sites and activities with ease.

You may enter with the ease of a lock box and never wait in a line. It is a perfect place to rest and relax while enjoying all of Chattanooga's amazing attractions. Leave your car parked in the off street parking behind the home and walk to the Aquarium, the Bluff View Arts District, Coolidge Park, the Walnut Street bridge, or many of the other downtown restaurants and shops. Either way, driving is only minutes.

Like many of the homes of this time period there are steps going to the first floor as well as to the second floor to two of the bedrooms. Therefore, it is not well suited for handicapped or elderly guests.

AMAZING VACATION RENTAL

While vacationing with two other couples we wanted a vacation rental that would offer space, a private bedroom for each couple as well as at least two full baths and, we were hoping for something different not just a typical modern house. A tall order to fill but this incredible vintage home from the 1800’s provided just that plus more! First and foremost, this home was spotless and nicely decorated with both modern and vintage pieces. It had an automatic welcoming feel when you entered the front door! There is plenty of space for six people and even more would feel comfortable and, to be honest I would rent it again even if it was just me and my hubby! Upon entering the beautiful kitchen with modern appliances, we were greeted by a glass filled dish of delicious homemade carmel cookie treats compliments of the owner Jo-Beth! The kitchen was nicely planned out and fully stocked if you wanted to prepare a meal and the dining area is so inviting. There are two comfortable separate sitting areas to watch tv (one on the 1st floor and another on the 2nd floor) as well as a separate living room type area to sit back and enjoy a book. The bedrooms offered very comfy beds with nice linens, blankets and comforters as well as privacy. All bathrooms were stocked with plenty of fluffy towels as well as soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner... so if you forget your shampoo etc. no worries! The main bathroom was incredible with a huge walk-in glass shower and a nice deep old fashion style claw tub ... talk about relaxing! Also, need more space to relax there’s a nice inviting front porch swing and on the 2nd level a nice sized porch with plenty of furniture. All this on a truly beautiful street complete with huge hardwood trees! The nice thing is you’re also close to downtown which is a short 5-10 mintute drive to some incredible restaurants. All six of us were SO HAPPY we decided on this vintage home ... the owner obviously takes great pride in making sure this beautiful home is well maintained and preserved for others to enjoy! THANK YOU Jo-Beth for adding to our wonderful vacation with this awesome vacation rental! WE LOVED IT!
