Can your hotel do all this? Our home offers three bedrooms for guest privacy, a full kitchen equipped to cook a pizza or a gourmet meal, and an attached two-car garage.
Get all the comforts of home in our clean, comfortable, and family-friendly three bedroom two-story townhome. Minutes from shopping, UND and the Alerus Center, you'll be near all the main attractions in Grand Forks in the comforts of a quiet, residential neighborhood.
With three bedrooms, everyone will have their own space. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and a smaller third bedroom has a new double bed and mattress.
A full bathroom is on the second floor and a half bath is on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and all the essential cookware, dishes and flatware. Three TVs also means no fighting over the remote.
We also have a high-chair and portable crib available upon request for our littlest guests. A washer and dryer is available for laundry needs and the two-car garage means no scraping windshields on snowy winter mornings.
We love technology, so our home is equipped with wireless Internet access and keyless entry (we'll provide you with an entry code).
Please note, we are located in a quiet residential neighborhood and require all guests to be respectful of our neighbors. No parties, loud music, noises or a lot of extra visitors . If this does not meet your lodging needs, we're not the place for you!
We have been inspected and are licensed by the State of North Dakota and the city of Grand Forks.
Kristin and I are avid travelers. We've had an opportunity to see some amazing places around the world and found our best experiences to be with home rentals vs. hotels. We enjoy having the privacy of multiple bedrooms, a kitchen to cook our own meals and a space to comfortably accommodate our kids and parents. We wanted to offer the same home stay opportunity to travelers visiting our area.
Phil McKenzie purchased this townhome in 2014
We chose this property because of its centralized location and quiet neighborhood. Shopping is three minutes away; UND five minutes; the Ralph Engelstad Arena is eight minutes. You're close to everything!
An attached double-car garage comes in handy during the frigid North Dakota winters. We are also the first hosts in Grand Forks, ND to offer an entire home as a short-term rental.
The town house was nice and in a good area close to everything. They have all the stuff needed to cook and make you feel at home.
Had a GREAT stay here. The house is located perfectly in GF as its super close to shopping and a straight shot to Engelstad Arena. The house is very nice and very clean. The beds were very comfortable (definitely a high quality mattress) and the linens were of very high quality. This may not seem like a big deal to some but a good nights sleep on nice sheets is something I can't live without. Highly recommend this place if you're sick of high priced, dirty, loud hotels.
This place was a perfect fit - with three bedrooms, a quiet neighborhood, and use of a garage - it was exactly the kind of space we needed. Directions to the place and for the use of the place were clear and accurate. The only issue - and it was a small one - was that the internet would go out intermittently....but this really was a non-issue for us. The place is clean and very functional. Although I did not meet the owners, they left a number and said I could call them with any issues. I'm glad to say there were no issues at all. Very nice place. Would recommend.
My 3 sisters and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Phil's home. The home was clean, very comfortable beds/bedding and a perfect location for the Alerus Centre and shopping. We all went to a football game watching my son play. After the game, we entertained 13 people, all seated in the dining/living room for a late Canadian, early American Thanksgiving Dinner. Will definitely be back next year. Thanks Phil
Clean, neat and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.
The townhouse was as described. It was clean and comfortable. It was, as promised, located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to a shopping mall, the Alerus Center, and UND. Although it can sleep 6, it might be a little tight. The host was very responsive to our questions, but did not intrude on our stay. Check in and check out were easy. We enjoyed time on the bicycle trails and lots of good fun with family for an extended wedding week. Next time we have the occasion to visit Grand Forks, we will hope to stay here again. We would recommend this townhouse to anyone looking for a clean, quiet get away that feels like home.
The University of North Dakota offers Division I athletics. It boasts the finest collegiate hockey arena and college hockey team in the nation. The Alerus Center hosts football games as well as local and regional conventions. The Chester Fritz Auditorium hosts concerts of all kinds from Broadway to ballet in its 2300 seat venue. The Empire Arts Center in downtown Grand Forks has 400 seats. You'll see theater, folk music, orchestras, lectures on any given night.
