About the property

It was a little majorcan house that was remodeled in 2008. Now 300m2 &12.000land

The house has 6 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (three with bath and three with shower), 1 Jacuzzi, 1 outdoor solarium with shower (hot / cold water). Upstairs there is a suite with double bed, it has its own terrace, and bathroom with jacuzzi bath and mountain views. There is also a double bedroom with a bathroom inside, a nice balcony overlooking the pool and mountains, and an ideal area for children: two smaller rooms sharing a bathroom. There are two single beds in each room and direct access to the solarium and garden from one of them. In the lower part of the house there are 2 more double bedrooms with direct access each of them to the outside. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, one with steam shower and the other with normal shower. In the lower part there is also the living-dining room with a guest bathroom, the entrance and a large kitchen with barbecue ideal for winter. The house its located in an area of 12,000 square meters and the house is in the middle, surrounded by trees and several gardens. There is a large swimming pool with 12 sun loungers, a shady pergola, a barbecue in the garden and a majorcan stone "paellero" to make great Paellas.

Measures of the swimming pool: 10.5 x 5 meters. And the bottom is 1 meter in the first part, 1.5 meters in the middle and 2 meters elsewhere.

Next to the pool there is a stone shower with hot and cold water.

In addition, the villa has these extra points for you to enjoy them included in the price:

Supplements:

* 10 € x day to dispose of firewood in Winter (minimum 7 nights of firewood). And if you want for less days, the price is € 15 per night.

* POSSIBILITY OF 2 ADDITIONAL BEDS for children with a supplement of 8% of the total amount.

* Possibility of 1 extra cot for baby of maximum 6 months for 4% more of the total amount.

* Possibility of 1 bed for child up to 2 years for 4% more of the total amount.

* HEATING NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. There are 2 systems: Paying an amount that is agreed with the owner according to the time of year and can be provided with central heating or with a system of coins which allows the client to spend what he wants. There is an air conditioner in each room and stay and the approximate price is 3 € / hour. And if you turn off the appliances, you keep the money you put.

It was an old house that I inherited from my parents and I reformed in 2008, retaining the traditional Mallorcan style but also giving the house of all possible comforts of modern life. In the house there are many details that make it unique. The reform lasted several years because I worked the house as if it was a work of art. I used natural materials to achieve natural freshness in summer and not so much cold in winter, so that customers hardly use the air conditioners, and winter has several heating systems.The concept of Son Jordi nou is to disconnect from the technological life and spend a few days in the countryside in a quiet place with a great silence and the only music is the singing of the birds. Near the house there are many trails to hike or bike, and about several trips to the mountains, the Castell de Alaro, and good food, wine and restaurants. It is perfect for cycling in the small beautiful paths that surround the house, and the mountain views, sunsets, the plenty of trees make the clients disconnect from the cities and from their normal lifes, which is perfect for vacations. It is also an ideal home for several families who want to spend the vacations together or group of friends because there are many places for each family to stay in privacy and other common spaces to be all together. There are several gardens and terraces. Also ideal for children the big swimming pool, the garden and trees, and the big ping pong table to play.

What makes this cottage unique

The house is situated in Consell-Alaró (Mallorca). It is in a quiet and beautiful environment but not so far from a highway that connects about 15-20 min drive to the island's capital Palma de Mallorca. Furthermore 5min walk from the house there is a train every half an hour that goes to the center of Palma and is also connected with other villages. So if you do not have a car it is not a problem getting around.

Perfect place for a (cycling) holiday

"We stayed in Son Jordi Nou October 2013 with 10 adults and 4 babies. The house is very big and spacious, as is the garden! We really enjoyed our time around the house and in the big swimming pool. For trips around the house a car is almost essential. A drive to the beach is around 20-30 minutes. In addition, the house is very well located in the middle of a perfect (professional) cyclying area. We rented high quality roadbikes and enjoyed multiple trips to Puig Major, Sa Calobra, Col de Soller etc."

The moment we walked through the door, we knew the house was exactly what we were hoping for. We were a group of 5 dads and 9 daughters away for a long weekend. The finca has many interesting features, history and art and a few cats as well! Perfect setup for a group of people with great social spaces, inside and out. Good ratio of bathrooms to guests and great to have the train station in walking distance. This place is relaxed and unpretentious and a true reflection of rural Mallorcan life. Highly recommended.

Wir haben 10 wundervolle Tage in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Es bietet viel Platz, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es war sehr sauber, auch der Pool ist toll und gut gewartet. Die Außenanlagen sind gepflegt. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

At the roundabout take direction Alaró and on this road turn left into the 'Camí des Raiguer'.
