About the property

It was a little majorcan house that was remodeled in 2008. Now 300m2 &12.000land

The house has 6 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (three with bath and three with shower), 1 Jacuzzi, 1 outdoor solarium with shower (hot / cold water). Upstairs there is a suite with double bed, it has its own terrace, and bathroom with jacuzzi bath and mountain views. There is also a double bedroom with a bathroom inside, a nice balcony overlooking the pool and mountains, and an ideal area for children: two smaller rooms sharing a bathroom. There are two single beds in each room and direct access to the solarium and garden from one of them. In the lower part of the house there are 2 more double bedrooms with direct access each of them to the outside. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, one with steam shower and the other with normal shower. In the lower part there is also the living-dining room with a guest bathroom, the entrance and a large kitchen with barbecue ideal for winter. The house its located in an area of 12,000 square meters and the house is in the middle, surrounded by trees and several gardens. There is a large swimming pool with 12 sun loungers, a shady pergola, a barbecue in the garden and a majorcan stone "paellero" to make great Paellas.

Measures of the swimming pool: 10.5 x 5 meters. And the bottom is 1 meter in the first part, 1.5 meters in the middle and 2 meters elsewhere.

Next to the pool there is a stone shower with hot and cold water.

In addition, the villa has these extra points for you to enjoy them included in the price:

In the house there is a cot included in the price for babies up to 6 months. And also a baby seat included.

Supplements:

* 10 € x day to dispose of firewood in Winter (minimum 7 nights of firewood). And if you want for less days, the price is € 15 per night.

* POSSIBILITY OF 2 ADDITIONAL BEDS for children with a supplement of 8% of the total amount.

* Possibility of 1 extra cot for baby of maximum 6 months for 4% more of the total amount.

* Possibility of 1 bed for child up to 2 years for 4% more of the total amount.

* HEATING NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. There are 2 systems: Paying an amount that is agreed with the owner according to the time of year and can be provided with central heating or with a system of coins which allows the client to spend what he wants. There is an air conditioner in each room and stay and the approximate price is 3 € / hour. And if you turn off the appliances, you keep the money you put.

It was an old house that I inherited from my parents and I reformed in 2008, retaining the traditional Mallorcan style but also giving the house of all possible comforts of modern life. In the house there are many details that make it unique. The reform lasted several years because I worked the house as if it was a work of art. I used natural materials to achieve natural freshness in summer and not so much cold in winter, so that customers hardly use the air conditioners, and winter has several heating systems.The concept of Son Jordi nou is to disconnect from the technological life and spend a few days in the countryside in a quiet place with a great silence and the only music is the singing of the birds. Near the house there are many trails to hike or bike, and about several trips to the mountains, the Castell de Alaro, and good food, wine and restaurants. It is perfect for cycling in the small beautiful paths that surround the house, and the mountain views, sunsets, the plenty of trees make the clients disconnect from the cities and from their normal lifes, which is perfect for vacations. It is also an ideal home for several families who want to spend the vacations together or group of friends because there are many places for each family to stay in privacy and other common spaces to be all together. There are several gardens and terraces. Also ideal for children the big swimming pool, the garden and trees, and the big ping pong table to play.

What makes this cottage unique

The house is situated in Consell-Alaró (Mallorca). It is in a quiet and beautiful environment but not so far from a highway that connects about 15-20 min drive to the island's capital Palma de Mallorca. Furthermore 5min walk from the house there is a train every half an hour that goes to the center of Palma and is also connected with other villages. So if you do not have a car it is not a problem getting around.

Fantastic villa, with an amazing pool and stunning views

We were a party of ten people-4 adults and 6 children and we were very impressed with this villa. It is nice and spacious with clean and modern bathrooms. The outside area was large and self contained, with an amazing swimming pool. The area was peaceful but you are only a short drive away from Consell and Inca where you can find supermarkets for your provisions. Also you are not too far away from the main motorway that runs from Palma to Alcudia on the east coast, so it felt like an ideal base to explore all areas of the island.

Perfect place for a (cycling) holiday

"We stayed in Son Jordi Nou October 2013 with 10 adults and 4 babies. The house is very big and spacious, as is the garden! We really enjoyed our time around the house and in the big swimming pool. For trips around the house a car is almost essential. A drive to the beach is around 20-30 minutes. In addition, the house is very well located in the middle of a perfect (professional) cyclying area. We rented high quality roadbikes and enjoyed multiple trips to Puig Major, Sa Calobra, Col de Soller etc."

The moment we walked through the door, we knew the house was exactly what we were hoping for. We were a group of 5 dads and 9 daughters away for a long weekend. The finca has many interesting features, history and art and a few cats as well! Perfect setup for a group of people with great social spaces, inside and out. Good ratio of bathrooms to guests and great to have the train station in walking distance. This place is relaxed and unpretentious and a true reflection of rural Mallorcan life. Highly recommended.

Die Beschreibung der Finca ist absolut zutreffend- unsere Erwartungen wurden eher noch übertroffen. Lorenzo ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und herzlicher Gastgeber, die Finca und der Garten sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand - die Aussicht auf die Tramuntana ist wunderschön. Wir werden gerne einmal wiederkommen...

Tolles Haus, nette Vermieter

Wir haben 10 wundervolle Tage in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Es bietet viel Platz, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es war sehr sauber, auch der Pool ist toll und gut gewartet. Die Außenanlagen sind gepflegt. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Take the motorway towards Inca and and take the exit Alaró/ Consell / Binissalem

At the roundabout take direction Alaró and on this road turn left into the 'Camí des Raiguer'.

From that road, turn left, and take 'Camino de Son jordi' and the house is called 'Son jordi nou'.

Recommendable to rent a car to get around the island

The house is very close to a train station. There's a train every 30 minutes to go to Inca or Palma, the main city. It takes about 20minutes to arrive.

ABOUT PRICES:
These prices include 10% of VAT and are for particular clients. For agencies the prices are 11% higher.

Internet Wifi: 25€ x week in high season (stays of 2weeks: 50€) // Low and middle season: 30€ x week and optional.

Cleaning of the house: 250€ x week. It includes the cleaning of the house, garden and swimming pool before your stay. Also clean bed sheets and towels for the shower and swimming pool. (Stays of 2weeks: 500€ and include 2 cleanings (with change of bedsheets and towels), 1before arrival and the next one the next Saturday morning between 10h and13h).

Rubbish&BBQ: It means that we come twice a week to pick up the rubbish (wednesday and saturday) so you don’t need to worry about this. In the countryside in Mallorca you can not through the rubbish anywhere except in the Green Points that they have a specific timetable. And BBQ means that we clean and prepare the Barbacue for you, usually clients use it a lot and leave it so dirty, so we clean and prepare for you. Stays of less than 7nights in low season: price 30€.

Bank expenses: Only to make an online payment you have to pay the 2,70% of the total amount to pay online. If you prefer an ordinary transfer, you don’t have to pay this fee.

Touristic tax: 1,10€ x person x night from 1st of May until 30th of October. (only adults over 16years old). Children under 16 does not pay if you send us their passports. From 1st of November until 30th of April 0,50€ x person x night (+10%VAT). Stays of more than 8nights in any season have the 50% of discount.

Deposit: 350€ x week (600€ for 2weeks). You have to leave a cash deposit on arrival that we will return you the last day if there aren’t any damages in the house.


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMETABLES:
Arrivals: from 15p.m until 21p.m (late arrivals: suplement of 20€ x hour) let us know if you arrival later
Departures: Before 10.30a.m (let us know if you need to leave earlier).

AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING: Slot machine: 3€ x hour (aprox)
