Perfect location.

We enjoyed being so close to everything that we needed during our stay. We were within walking distance of many different sites and the subway was right across the street. The flat was very nicely appointed. The beds were comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location - perfectly adequate accomodations

  • 4 of 5

The location is fantastic for access to everything in central Paris. Surprisingly quiet interior for being on a major road. All the restaurants, cafe's, grocery, and other services you need are within short walking distance. The area is clean, lively, and beautiful. The apartment itself is large enough for a family of 4 to be comfortable and it was awesome having the small patio overlooking Boulevard St. Germain. The interior is slightly dated but has all the basics you'll need to enjoy your stay. Bernard gave us a warm greeting and some local restaurant recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend anyone to stay here and enjoy the beauty of Paris.

Location, location,location

  • 5 of 5

This charming 2 bedroom flat has lovely windows and balconies, and since the bathroom is in a separate room from the toilette, much more convenient for two couples. However the main attraction is it's excellent location, only a few streets from Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine, and left bank attractions such as the Pantheon, la Sorbonne, and wonderful neighborhood cafes and restaurants, not to mention, an outdoor marketplace across the street and convient food shops all around. Although we were there in early June, it was still unseasonably warm, but turning on the fans in each bedroom and opening all the French Windows cooled down the apartment in the evening. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and I would heartily recommend it.

Great Location, Great Hosts, Great Time.

  • 5 of 5

Anne and Bernard work hard to make the VRBO experience as smooth and easy as possible. Our family, two adults, two teenage kids, absolutely loved our Paris experience. This was our first time staying in the Latin Quarter and we enjoyed it very much. Great dining, pastries, bakeries and cool shops all within 100 meters. Quick access to the metro for visiting the many touristy areas that one wants to see in Paris. Also, a five minute walk to the river. It helped, of course, that the weather was perfect. Even so, we would definitely recommend this VRBO and plan on returning again.

Wonderful apartment, fabulous location, gracious host!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of four (my husband, myself, and both mothers) recently stayed in this wonderful apartment and we can't say enough. The location is located across the street from the metro but also central enough to walk almost everywhere you need. The neighborhood is fabulous with amazing bakeries, sweets, flower shops, and other specialty stores super close, and even a neighborhood market that sets up 2-3 times a week just across the street. The apartment itself was spacious and fit our needs perfectly - the building elevator and private balcony were both extra bonuses. We were a little worried about only having one bathroom but with the toilet in a separate room from the shower this was never an issue. Bernard was also a fabulous host who was gracious enough to help with our luggage and allow us to store them beyond our checkout time so we could do some final exploring without having to lug them behind. Our only complaint was that the street noise from the cars could be a little loud at times but the fans provided the perfect white noise to drown them out and, the location, amenities, and wonderful host(s) more than made up for it. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will book again if we are fortunate enough to travel back to Paris.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

It is not our first stay in Paris, but the first one where every member of our family said that the next time we come to Paris, we should stay in the same place. The location is, simply, ideal - 250 yards via Rue de Bievre to Seine embankment right behind the Notre Dame; a short walk up the hill to St. Etienne du Mont and Pantheon, a walking distance to Ile St. Louis and Luxembourg Gardens. The metro station, Maubert, is literally 30 yards away. And yet, despite being so close to everything, the neighborhood feels lively and residential and not “touristy” (in a bad sense of it) at all. Both Carrefour and Franprix are within 3 minute walk if you want to have breakfast at home instead of going out. La Parisienne, the boulangerie in the next building down Blvd. St. Germain, sells the best croissants around - and we have tried a few (also, their tarts…. I will miss them!).

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with the tiniest elevator I have ever seen (yet, perfectly sufficient for 2 people - or three, if they use it before dinner). The view from windows is marvelous - lively Place Maubert and Boulevard St. Germain, with the dome of the Pantheon visible in the distance. As many people have noted already, the windows block out the noise from the outside quite well, and we were able to have restful sleep every night we were there. WiFi and all the kitchen equipment worked great - no issues at all. The small balcony allowed us to enjoy a cup of coffee sitting outside, people watching. Sure, the shower takes a little bit to get used to, but I am nitpicking. Two thumbs up to this apartment and its gracious owners; we loved it there and we hope to come back again.
