Great vacation rental on the water

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation in Big Pine Key. The house has a great location in a quiet residential area but in easy reach of shops and restaurants. The house was great and had everything we needed but a real highlight were the kayaks and bikes available for us during our stay. Will provided all the information we needed for our stay.

We loved Big Pine Key, especially the Key Deer and birdlife. We would highly recommend this property.

This property is the perfect spot for all Keys activities!!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we have stayed at Will's vacation home. It is still the perfect home for all Keys activities! It is a short drive out of the canal to the open water. It's the perfect spot for finding all those lobster and if you feel like visiting Key West it's just a short drive away. His home is comfortable, clean and well taken care of. Will is very attentive. If you have any issues or questions he immediately responds with a solution or answer. He is an awesome host! We look forward to our stay next year! Thank you Will for once again sharing your vacation home with our family!

Clean, Neat, Everything You Need for a Stay

  • 5 of 5

The property is everything that is presented and more! Will is prompt in his communication and easy to chat with. Payment online is fast and effective.

The house is easy to find and in a great location close to Winn-Dixie, pizza, CVS, bait/tackle shop, ammo shop, thrift stores, bank and liquor store. Big Pine Key is a small island with big island amenities (it's not NY City but it's got everything you need). The house itself is well stocked with everything you'd need for a stay. Pots, pans, baking pans, plates, bowls, utensils, grill utensils, a grill, keurig coffee maker (pods to get you started), big, clean, stainless steel refrigerator, flat cook stove, dishwasher (dish soap, dishwashing soap, hand soap, etc. are there to start you out in case you are arriving late or are too excited your first day to shop!).

The floorplan is open. The two bedroom are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The entire house has laminate wood floors and tile in the bathroom. The bathroom is well stocked (towels - and tp, shampoo, conditioner, soap to get you started) and very nice. The main living are is furnished with a beautiful high top wood table with 6 chairs, a very comfortable full size couch with coffee table, 2 small end tables with lamps, a futon with two floor lamps. The house is well maintained and clean. This house has all you need in a compact space. It's very well appointed but is not fussy or cramped with lots of furniture.

The spacious porch overlooks the canal and has 6 heavy plastic adirondack chairs for star gazing. Key deer are abundant. There is a convenient outside (enclosed) shower for a refreshing shower after a long day on the ocean. There are two kayaks, 2 bikes, a washer and dryer and a fish/bait freezer. A great fish cleaning station. The entire yard is fenced for privacy and you can leave your stuff out if you're so inclined (at your own risk; it's not locked although there is a large, locked storage area that is available for your use). Huge dock. And, one of the highlights of this property is the Eden Pines boat ramp which is located at the end of the canal!

It takes about 20 minutes at no wake speed to reach the channel to the Atlantic Ocean. There is one bridge to navigate under. If you're unsure whether your boat will fit, just ask. The ride is peaceful and the neighbors are friendly.

A 35 minute drive to the wild side of Key West. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Thank you, Will for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Keys house!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time on our vacation here! The home is perfect. It's comfortable and well kept. You feel right at home. The concrete down stairs is perfect! The fence around the home is nice to keep the deer out but you can still see them up close right through the fence for those who love the key deer. Quick access to open water too! Will was nothing but helpful from the quick last minute reservation to the re-book for next year! 5 star stay for sure! :-) Thanks again Wil!

Iguanas, barracuda and deer oh my

  • 5 of 5

We booked this house in Big Pine Key for a week. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The owner Will chatted with us prior to our booking to talk about the area. We brought with us our 13ft Boston Whaler that we could dock right behind the house, ramp is 3 houses down. All the neighbors were quite friendly to us. We were close to a grocery store and all we needed for a laid back week with two children. The canal behind house offers quick access to offshore or flats fishing. There is a close restaurant off the channel we went too and docked the boat called Kikis Sandbar.

We enjoyed also swimming and snorkeling at picnic island.

The house is modern and clean. The Queen bed in the master was very comfortable, nice sheets, pillows and blankets and updated kitchen and bath. The AC units work well and the house was very comfortable. The house was supplied with towels, beach chairs and umbrella,. Our favorite part of Big Pine Key was the key deer. We saw them causally all over the neighborhood as well as Iguanas. We fished off the dock and caught a barracuda, mangrove snappers and grunt. It was a wonderful relaxing disconnect back to nature and simple living. We enjoyed our star gazing at night off the back porch. Will, the owner was attentive and timely to all our questions and needs. We would stay here again. Thanks Will!
