Two bedroom, 1 bath unit on second floor of well maintained historic building near Lake of the Isles and Uptown. Quiet street and building in East Isles / Lowry Hill neighborhood. Minimum stay 6 weeks during the months of November - March; minimum stay 2 months during the months of April - October. Maximum stay is generally 3 months. Longer terms possibly available. Contact owner for information on specific dates. I travel to Minneapolis 4-6 times per year for stays of 10 - 14 days and rent the unit in between my visits which is the reason for the minimum and maximum duration of rental terms. Tenants who are willing to 'move out' during my visits are welcome to rent the unit for longer periods of time.
Unit sleeps 4 for short-term stays, 1-2 for longer stays. One larger bedroom with full bed, second smaller bedroom has a single or king air bed, or can be used as an office, study or sitting room if only one bedroom is needed. The second bedroom is not large enough for an adult to occupy for an extended period of time but can be used for young children or short term for adult guests.
Rent is $1900 per month November - March, $2100 per month April - October. $650 refundable deposit. Rate includes all utilities and high speed internet. Cable television is NOT included. No assigned parking but street parking is relatively plentiful. Some pets allowed with additional deposit.

I live in Seattle WA but grew up in Minneapolis. I'm on the faculty of U of Washington in the Departments of Biostistics and Global Health and collaborate with clinicians and other scientists on the treatment and management of HIV infection. I travel to Minneapolis 4-6 times per year for stays of 10 - 14 days and rent the unit in between my visits. That's the reason for the minimum and maximum duration for rentals. Visitors who are willing to 'move out' during my visits are welcome to rent the unit for longer periods of time.
