First time on the Island
Been beaching many times but first time on the Island. Everything was awesome. The property gave us a direct view of the ocean. Also short step to the beach. The unit itself was great. Had absolutely no issues. Even had a short visit with the on site property manager. 5 stars all the way. The Island was very quaint and felt like home. Enough to do but not overwhelming. Can't wait to get back.
A little slice of Paradise
We have been staying at this property for years. The condo is well maintained and updated often. The homeowner has many personal touches which we love. The new sofa, curtains, oven and stove are very nice. Being on the first floor, with my husbands handicap, is ideal and there are chairs, an umbrella, and lots of water toys for kids. Oh, and the DVD and book collection are awesome too. We left a wonderful 1,000 piece puzzle that I hope someone enjoys as much as I did! Love this home! ❤️

Only 1 Parking Place, but Great Location
I reduced the cleanliness rating because the microfiber couches need cleaning, probably from sunscreens and oils from skin. Additionally, some towels and pillowcases had to be switched out because they had a strong mildew odor, as if they’d be dried long after they’d been washed.
I’ve traveled a lot through HomeAway, and we usually receive check-in info through the app. But instead I needed to have looked for an email from a property management company that I had never heard of. It would be helpful if that was noted in the app, so we wouldn’t have to contact the owner.
We also felt like the listing lacked some important details. For instance, there is ONLY 1 parking place. We didn’t know this until we arrived. We had to work with the property management company, as well as the onsite manager of the property to secure parking each day. It was rather inconvenient and was unexpected. My husband had a conference at the Ritz, so he needed a car early, but then the other 3 of us needed a car to get to restaurants for lunch, etc. Also, the listing said that the Ritz was a short walk down the beach. However, when we put it in GoogleMaps, it was a 38 minute walk.
I’ve only listed the frustrating things, but overall we enjoyed the property. The access to the pool and the beach was perfect and easy for us. But the listing could do a little better at setting expectations. I hate to leave a less than perfect review for someone, however I think it’s important these details be addressed for future renters.

Perfect location and placement on the beach area. Close enough to restaurants, yet far enough to not have the hassles.
