An Amazing Location and a Nice Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my wife and 12 year-old daughter for five nights and loved it. The neighborhood was amazing; we could easily walk to the streetcar, and eventually we started to feel like locals. It's a small, cozy place, but we could never find anything else for such a reasonable price in the area. Becky was very easy to work with and she was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Cute studio in a good location

  • 3 of 5

We stayed four nights in this studio apartment, which we found to be exactly as described and pictured. The parking permit was appreciated (we found adequate and convenient parking despite construction on the street) as well as how close it was to a bus stop and the 23rd St shops/restaurants. Like many others described, we had difficulty falling asleep the first night due to sound traveling from upstairs. Luckily, we didn’t hear much noise after the 2nd day. We also appreciated the air conditioning unit, since temperatures reached 90+ during our stay. Although the studio remained cool, it felt humid and our towels had difficulty drying. We also spotted quite a few spiders in the unit during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the apartment but would caution others about the noise.

Owner's Response: Thank you Kristine for your review. Was not sure what was causing the humidity you were experiencing so checked the dryer vent and the unit was fine. As we do all the units laundry (we have units next door too) in the attached garage on your level checked those dryer vents too. I discovered one of those dryer vents had come loose and was most likely causing the air to be humid. Hopefully this fixed the problem as not heard of the unit being humid before:). In regards to the spider was not aware there were any and so apologize. I have put a treatment in the unit to help eliminate the spiders! Thank you again for visiting! Becky

great location, but directions on how to get here by foot from the airport would have been a great.

Nice place, not missing anything that we needed. Was a bit of the trek from the train line though, without knowing of the streetcar connection off the bat. Close to lots of shops, downtown, food choices, etc. Would recommend to others.
