The home was one of the best we have ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable and convenient.

It seems that whenever we went looking for something, we found it. The owner, Jeff, went way above and beyond what a host needs to do in respect to making sure everything one could need during a stay was available. The property was newly refurbished, at least it felt that way, and simply spotless. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and showers were spacious and clean.

The home was a 5 minute walk to a great bakery/coffee shop, three grocery stores and several very good restaurants.

When we return to Asheville, I will not even look at another property.

Perfect in every way!

Fabulous girls weekend away in this clean, quaint, modern home. Jeff could not have been more accommodating. The home is located in a great neighborhood close to all that Asheville has to offer. All in all, we absolutely LOVED the Red House and would stay here again!

We rented a home not a house. What a wonderful 7 weeks!

The red house is light and open and so enjoyable to live in. The kitchen is furnished completely including top notch quality cookware and utensils plus a large butcher block island with two stools. Easy to do prep work but also to spread out the newspaper or other reading and sit with a cup of tea or coffee. The long dining room table was great for entertaining but also to set up my serger and sewing machine as a sewing center. The sectional sofa in the living room was comfy and great to curl up on to read as well as watch television. What is not visible on the pictures is the pantry which housed my sewing supplies, food, and other stuff. Great storage.

Upstairs, both bedrooms and bathrooms were well stocked and comfortable. There is a large washer and dryer as well as a long desk in the hallway which was great for my lap top and also to put on makeup.

The location is terrific...close to Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, and downtown Asheville. We used Charlotte Street to go into town and come up Biltmore for a 5 minute trip. Lots of stuff going on in downtown Asheville.

I forgot about the wonderful deck off the kitchen with comfy furniture and a grill.

Jeff, the owner, is welcoming and really has done a super job of making the red house a home while away from home. A 15 on a scale of 1 to 10!

We didn't want to leave!

The house is wonderful! It is modern, clean, sparkling with perfect decorative touches. Jeff was wonderful to work with. He had terrific ideas for hiking and dinners. He went out of his way to be exceptionally helpful. The location is perfect, close to downtown. Both of my grown children loved it also. None of us wanted to leave. We hope to return. The photos do not do it justice. It was better than imagined.

Perfect Place for two couples or a small family.

This house was ideal for our long-weekend in Asheville. It made a great base for our exploration of the area and was within walking distance of downtown and the grocery store (Trader Joes). I was a little worried when I booked the house as the photos made it seem rather small. Let me tell you the photos do not do the place justice! Granted, this is not the Biltmore House, but there is plenty of room. The downstairs is an open floor plan with a living, dining and kitchen area and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Upstairs are two suites, each with a nice size sleeping area and a fully stocked bathroom. Perfect for two couples. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would certainly rent this house again.
