Unforgettable Monte Polo

  • 5 of 5

Monte Polo comprises an old vicarage and church, close to the Renaissance town of Urbino, and a five-minute drive from the picturesque town of Fermignano. The setting of Monte Polo is stunning, affording gorgeous views of the Pre-Apennine hill country. The vicarage has been beautifully restored and is filled with character, charm and history. The apartment we stayed in was lovely, comfortable and well-equipped, with a beautiful, private garden. The two Maremma Italian sheepdogs, Lilly and Ares, greatly added to our enjoyment of Monte Polo. But what made the stay truly outstanding were the owners, Enrico and Christa, who are exceptional hosts and truly special people, putting much time and effort into ensuring that their visitors' stay in Marche is memorable. The highlight of our week in Marche was a trip with Enrico and Christa to the beautiful town of Piobbico and lunch at a nearby restaurant, followed by a drive to Christa and Enrico's cottage, perched on the top of Mount Nerone in the Apennine chain. Altogether, an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much Christa and Enrico (and Lilly and Ares) for your generosity, hospitality, and friendship. We will always remember you and Monte Polo.

Cá Monte Polo è ricca in storia. L''appartamento dove rimanevamo era confortevole e ben attrezzata.

Magicamente incantati!

  • 5 of 5

So schön!

  • 5 of 5

Erholung pur !!!

  • 5 of 5

Natura, cultura e relax

  • 5 of 5

Ci rivedremo presto. PS. Vacanza conclusa con pranzo "Da Rossi" a Tavullia e gara in diretta! Spettacolo... A presto!?
