Modern, one-level villa in the area Baladrar (Benissa).

Midway between Valencia and Alicante there is a delightful coastal town, the old fishing village Moraira. Unlike nearby located towns of Calpe and Benidorm, the City Councils of Moraira and Benissa oppose high rise buildings. Therefore, Moraira and adjacent Benissa preserve their original beauty. It is a wonderful view to see all the holiday villas, holiday homes and holiday houses –predominantly accommodated with private swimming pools- situated against the green, rolling hills and between fragrant pine trees! Our holiday home is a lovely, modern, ground floor villa in the Baladrar area (Benissa), with private pool and offering sea view from the terrace. The villa is located within walking distance of the Ifach golf course, the fishing village Moraira, the pebble beach Cala Baladrar, a large supermarket, restaurants and bars.

The rustic and cosy interior has comfortable furniture and is equipped with all mod cons, including central heating, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the villa, satellite-tv, DVD-player and Hifi-set (radio/CD/MP3/iPod). The villa offers a high degree of privacy thanks to its ideal location and the presence of mature plants, shrubs and palm trees surrounding the villa. The large roof terrace offers attractive views of the surrounding hills, the sea and the rock of Calpe.

About Peter Berg

Irma and Peter Berg, married and 2 daughters. Living in the ‘Duin- en Bollenstreek’ (the bulbfields e.g. Keukenhof), South Holland, Netherlands.

Irma is a teacher at a primary school, while Peter is a videographer/film maker.

Why Peter Berg chose Benissa

Irma knew Moraira from her childhood as her parents for years celebrated holiday in closeby Calpe. In the summer of 2009 we returned once again. By then, we came up with the idea to search for a villa there. Our quest immediately stopped when we visited this villa. It was exactly what we wanted it to be! All of our criteria were met. Up till this moment, we never had any regrets of buying this wonderful villa!

What makes this villa unique

Wonderful place, quiet, sea view, closeby supermarket and restaurants, Ibiza-like style, one-level, private swimming pool. But especially the privacy of the villa is something we really like!

A real gem

When we saw the pictures on the internet we immediately knew that villa “Colina” would be our next holiday rental. Our intuition proved to be correct. It is a very well appointed, clean house with nice sea views and very well located. Super markets and restaurants are within very reasonable reach. Villa “Colina” gave us a very homely feeling right from the start.

We also had a very good contact with the owner. Upon our arrival we found his “sparkling” welcome attention. No better way to start a vacation.

We warmly recommend this villa and hope to spend some of our future holidays in Villa “Colina”.

Take the motorway A7 (Alicante-Valencia), take the exit for Benissa-Teulade-Calpe. In Benissa follow directions for Benissa Zona Costera. After approximately 3 km turn left for the direction of Benimarco (do NOT go straight ahead to Moraira-Calpe !!). In the neighbourhood of Montemar continue to follow the main road which seamlessly connects with Avinguda del Baladrar.

In our villa you will find an information folder with hints and tips about interesting spots, activities, beaches and restaurants nearby.
