The perfect private estate for your wedding, family reunion, family vacation or just a wonderful get a way for skiing, fly fishing, golf, rafting or sightseeing.
From the ground floor of this incredible 40 acre Montana estate our guests enjoy cross country skiing, breathtaking views of Tobacco Valley, Lake Koocanusa and Black Lake and gaze into the Canadian Rockies, West Kootenei mountains and the Whitefish range, all from the living room, the front porch and the upper deck outside the Master Suite. This one of a kind private property is remote and isolated yet less than 10 minutes from downtown Eureka MT where there are several good restaurants and places to shop. The character of the main house is 100% pure Montana! It features floors and stair ways of reclaimed barn wood, 20 foot tall ceiling and large stone fire place imbedded in a wall of 12 inch reclaimed Oregon bridge timbers. Handmade twisted Juniper wood tables add character and uniqueness to the ground floor living area, while leather recliners, swivel chairs and a lovely sofa provide comfortable seating in the living room. A beautiful moose rack chandelier illuminates the living room and an authentic ancient Wooly Mammoth (Mammoths primigenius) tusk sits atop the huge mantel which is a reclaimed pegged bridge timber. These Mammoths still walked the earth when the Pyramids were built. The last known survivors are thought to have perished 2500 to 2000 years ago. This beautiful artifact was found frozen in the Alaskan Tundra over a hundred years ago and now is proudly displayed above the warm fire place reminding us of eras past. The kitchen/dining area features an 1800's wood burning cook stove that has been modernized to use electricity as well as a totally modern convection microwave oven, dish washer, dining table and chairs, refrigerator/ freezer, disposal, bar and bar stools. Also on the ground floor is a full bath, and 2 bedrooms each with full size beds and closets. One bedroom features a full size hand made wolf pelt comforter and the other a full size hand made beaver pelt comforter.
The spacious Master Suite is on the second floor and features sliding glass patio doors that open to a walk-out deck. The Master Bath has a glass and granite shower for 2, his and her sinks, individual storage space and a Jacuzzi tub for 2 (a very romantic place). All the Master Suite furniture is hand built from reclaimed wood including the very comfortable king size bed. (The bed rails are made from an old barn door). Also on the second floor is a living area/TV room with cable, a comfortable recliner and sleeper sofa.
The lower level is a fully self-contained walk-out basement apartment. The apartment contains a full bath, bedroom, living area, and laundry/exercise room. This living area has a big screen TV with Direct TV cable. The bedroom is rather large with a king size bed, a twin with trundle bed, small dinette set a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The laundry room/exercise room has a washer and dryer and a TV to watch while on the treadmill.
The game room is detached from the main house therefore allowing some separation between those who prefer peace and quiet while others enjoy a livelier or louder experience. Here one will find a full size regulation ping pong table and full size regulation pool table, refrigerator and fully functional 1800's wood stove with plenty firewood in the attached wood shed. The leather recliner and reclining sofas make sitting around the stove so very comfortable while watching others compete on the tables.

We loved our trip to Eureka, Mt. This is the most wonderful place to spend a vacation. This home is so gorgeous and comfortable. The home is filled with luxury, yet it still has a cabin-type atmosphere. All the house is decorated with a cabin theme, but it is so much more. There is a lot of room and it can accommodate a crowd or just a few people. We were really excited to have a garage attached so we could keep our motorcycles inside when not riding. We really enjoyed all the rides we took, including Going-To-The-Sun Road to Glacier National Park, Kootenai National Forest, Flathead Lake, Whitefish, Kalispell and of course Eureka, Mt. We also took a short ride into Canada to the town of Cranbrook. All the rides were beautiful and the weather was great for late August and early September. On one of our rides, we were fortunate enough to see a silver wolf in the wild. From a scenic pull-off we watched it as it made its way thru some brush below us. It was a really awesome experience. We loved the beautiful views from the front and back decks of the house. We cooked out a few times, watched the deer in the yard every morning, and just enjoyed the serene country views while relaxing there. We also spent some time in Eureka shopping and the restaurants were great. We ate a lot of meals at the Café Jax. Food was great and the people were really friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a great vacations experience. We hope to be able to make that same trip again in the future. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Pat & Linda S
It was incredibly relaxing and tranquil! The right amount of seclusion and perfect distance from the closest town. We've recommended this house to all our friends. We will definitely be back!
This home in Eureka, Mt is a wonderful place to stay. This is our second time to stay here. The house is very inviting and we love how it is decorated. There is plenty of room for family or friends, and everything you need is provided. We were happy just to spend time enjoying the awesome view from the deck. We did take some excursions around the area, as there are a lot of things to see. We rode our motorcycles around the lake area, explored the town and made a trip in to Canada. It was nice that there was cell phone reception at the house. Also we were really happy to have a garage so we could keep our motorcycles inside. The clubhouse is a great place to hang out also. Last time we enjoyed the ride to Glacier National Park. We enjoyed our trip and are making plans for the next time. You won't be disappointed.
An A+ property. During our week stay (there were 4 couples), deer, grouse, and turkey wandered right in front of the windows. Our group flyfished on the Kootenai River, took a Red Bus tour on the Driving to the Sun Road in Glacier Park, visited the water falls where some of the movie "The Revenant" was filmed, and ate huckleberry pie and shopped in Whitefish. The accommodations and beautiful customized style of the home was just as advertised. We eight now want one just like it.
We stayed at this property for 10 days, and loved every minute. We have a large family of 5 kids ranging age 22-12, plus a son's girlfriend and our 93 year old grandmother came for part of the stay. This cabin has something for everyone, and they all had a blast. From morning coffee on the front deck watching the wildlife, to the huge lawn in front which is perfect for flying kites or setting up croquet and archery, to marveling at the stars late at night, we never really wanted to leave. The kids played "war" in the surrounding forest, while the grownups could take long walks or just sit on the many decks and enjoys the spectacular views. The "man cave" kept everyone entertained when the weather was briefly rainy. The cabin is stocked with just about everything you can desire, and there is so much attention to small details - beautiful long forks for roasting marshmallows in the huge fireplace, little locally handcrafted soaps in every bathroom, handpainted glassware, fluffy monogrammed towels... just many signs of the love and attention that the hosts have put into the experience. The hosts are friendly and accessible, and quickly responsive to questions. We know the area quite well, and found that the location is out of the way enough that you really get away from it all, but local attractions were all within a 10-20 minute, very pretty drive. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Montana Homeplace is no doubt the best lodging in Montana. There are no words to describe it's beauty inside and out. We didn't want to leave! We felt so blessed as it is high on a mountain right under heaven. Nothing compares to the view. Nothing compares to the comfort. Everything was perfect and the personal touch is beyond anything I can put into words. It will forever be etched into our memory.
In my heart forever!

Just superb Place; Excellent location; Excellent view; Excellent facilities; Superb feel of interior.
Three families, our stay was "No Comparison" experience.
I would admit "Lust for customer care" from owners of property is beyond expectations.
I would definitely go again on my very first chance to escape from work.
