Situated on a roughly 15,000-square-foot plot of land at 2775 Valmont Road. The Rayback Collective isn’t a new idea, but it’s something that was sorely needed in Boulder. A successfully funded Kickstarter campaign raised more than $40,000 for the project, making it a venue truly built for the people, by the people. The new space will boast a food-truck park, a beer garden, live music and patio games, and is designed to bring the community together to celebrate the outdoors. We were attracted to this small building because it had lovely 'bones' and a huge yard. It was pretty ugly and overrun with weeds. But we saw the vision. We took our time and created a lovely, private, modern space for you to enjoy just a stone's throw away from Pearl Street.
The shape and footprint of the house surrounded by this large yard with mature Oak trees and outdoor view of the Flat Irons. The parking and private dinning space is really hard to find in Central/Downtown Boulder.
We rented this "apartment" (entire first floor of house) for an entire week. It was the perfect size for a family of 4! It was so well furnished, owners thought of many little extras like an abundance of dishes and glasses, sugar and spices in the pantry, and butter in the fridge. We were able to cook breakfast in the mornings and even used the grill one evening. Thought we would use the bikes but sadly never did. The beds were super comfy, sheets and towels top quality. Location was wonderful: made day trips into Denver and up to Estes Park, hiked the flatirons of Chautauqua Park and went into Left Hand Canyon. Had dinner up at Gold Hill Inn...check out their website! The only downsides (which we knew going in) were that it had one bathroom and no air conditioning (sadly Boulder had a heat wave the week we were there). Owners are great communicators, answered all questions we had. I would gladly stay there again as well as recommend it to friends.
This house was adorable and furnished well. We had a great time in Boulder and the house is very conveniently located to all the good stuff. Shopping, dining, hiking, biking to name a few.

we enjoyed this relaxing and well decorated home very much! it was close enough to the action, but felt like living in a quieter neighborhood. we certainly hope to rent again on our future boulder trips. thank you!
The property looked pretty much like the photos, but we discovered two disappointments upon arrival: no air conditioning (via central air or window units) and no outdoor grill. The lack of AC was not added to the Overview description until after our stay, and it was not an amenity we knew to look for as part of a checklist. Its absence made for an uncomfortable week (especially with a baby) with inside temperatures hovering in the mid-80's even after dark. The owner did provide an extra fan and a grill on the second day of our stay after we made clear that it was a major driver for renting this particular property. This experience was a good reminder to read between the lines and to be sure and follow up with the owner if any particular amenities are must-haves for your visit.
Very nice house that is an easy, short drive (or bike ride) to the Ped Mall. Proximity to Eldora Mountain and the bike trail on Canyon Drive can't be beat. The house is tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for cooking dinner and the front yard in spring/summer would be a perfect spot for an outdoor meal. We enjoyed the shopping downtown but more importantly the access to outdoors. This house is in a very safe neighborhood, no complaints. Quiet too. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts who still want to stay in the heart of Boulder.
This is our second stay at this charming apartment that truly feels like a home. This visit we had the great experience of snow almost every day, and the place was so warm and cozy! The owner was very accomodating and offered up the use of the carport, which came in quite handy for these southern California snow rookies! We highly recommend this charming, immaculate home that is perfectly located. We look forward to our next stay!
