Ancient farm that dates back to the early 19th century, it is fully restored with a lot of character. Excellent services. 300 sq.m of living space 5 minutes away from Bonnieux.

It is located in a quiet and relaxing area, a terraced terrain of about 2.5 hectares with pleasant garden, summer dining room, beautiful pool at a height (15 x 6 m, Electric cover) .

Ground floor: hall guest toilet, living room, living room, dining room, kitchen, all with access to the summer terrace at the back of the house, laundry room.

1 bedroom (160x200 cm bed), shower room and toilet.

One bedroom has two single 90 x 200 m beds, a bathroom and toilet.

Great family vacation in a wonderful, comfortable renovated farmhouse

The house exceeded our expectations which were based on photographs that turned out to be out of date (the wooden deck surrounding the swimming pool and the tiling installed underneath the courtyard seating arrangement were much appreciated improvements). The photographs on the VRBO website have since been updated, but still don't quite do the house and the surrounding property justice.

The house worked very well for our group of eight adults, especially with each bedroom having its own bathroom, all the beds being comfortable and the kitchen being well-equipped and spacious with French doors opening onto a covered patio. We enjoyed most of our meals at the big table on that patio. It quickly became one of our favourite gathering spots and whoever was cooking did not feel cut off from the rest of us. The house and its outdoor spaces offered quite a few options for gathering as a group or finding a more isolated spot for a nap, some reading or just peace and quiet. We appreciated the neutral, calm décor and the use of natural materials. The swimmers and sunbathers among us enjoyed the swimming pool and its deck. The gardeners among us appreciated the plantings of lavender, roses, olive trees, oleander, campsis, wisteria, hydrangeas, etc. The house was ideally located for exploring the charming villages of the Luberon and beyond and Avignon's TGV train station was within easy reach when one in our party needed to leave early.

The owner is friendly and responsive. Housekeeper Myriam and her team are wonderful: helpful, courteous and hardworking yet unobtrusive. The same can be said of the individuals handling the gardening and pool maintenance chores.

We have rented many houses in Provence and Brittany over the years for our family vacations. This one is our favourite to date and the rental arrangements were very straightforward without any fuss. While we have never rented the same house twice (wanting to explore different areas), this house may well become the exception.

Two heavenly weeks in Bonnieux

The house is absolutely beautiful both inside and out. The bedrooms are comfortable and each has its own bathroom. The kitchen is fabulously well equipped. We loved sitting in the courtyard outside under the large umbrella with a bottle of rosé. The pool is such a splendid size for a proper swim. The house is managed by a wonderful housekeeper who keeps is spotlessly clean. We explored many of the small villages in the Luberon, ate in wonderful restaurants including Le Fournil in Bonnieux, went to the local markets, bought far too much wine and loved every second if it. I could not recommend the house more strongly.

A perfect house in a perfect location

We loved the location and the house and have already recommended it to others. The house was exactly as described and was well-suited for our group of 10. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed, and we enjoyed the large indoor and outdoor dining areas. The property is well-managed and well-maintained, and the property managers were very helpful. A problem with the hot water was fixed immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting many local villages, and took several day trips to places like Cassis, Mont Ventoux, St. Remy, the Pont du Gard. The bike riding in the area was fantastic. My only regret was that we could not stay longer!

Excellent

Excellent holidays. The house is wonderful. Didier is a very polite landlord with an outstandig taste. We loved the big pool and the relaxing courtyard. We also enjoyed the different places at the house and at the pool for braekfast, dinner and barbeque. The environment is very quiet. There are bakeries nearby in Bonnieux as well as a small supermarket and a weekly market in the centre of the village. Thank you, Didier.

Superbe!!!

Simplement le paradis, le jardin la piscine la maison. La cuisine très bien équipée. Chambres spacieuses et nombreuses salles d'eau. L'emplacement est idéal proche de la plupart des points d'intérêts. Rien à dire c'est la classe. Le propriétaire très sympathique.
