This modern two bedroom with fabulous location, SWIMMING POOL AND BARBECUE AREA perfect for vacation or relocation. Great schools (Millikan Magnet Middle-public, High Notre Dam-private) , shopping (Westfield Mall, Ross, Sport Authority), Banks (Bank of America) and restaurants in walking distance, minutes drive to Universal Studio, very close to Hollywood, Beverly Hills. 45 min drive to Disney Land, 25 minutes drive to Santa Monica. 2 minutes drive to 101 highway.

Apartment does not faces the street but the back of the house so very quite and private.

Apartment was completely renovated in Summer 2014, all the new furniture, linens, etc. was brought.

We supply cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoo, conditioners, body lotions, laundry detergents for a minimum of one week stay to get you started. 2-3 changes of clean linens and towels. Hair dryer. House keeping available (for extra fee) upon request.

Very quite and safe neighborhood!

The property was clean and ready, and had everything we needed.

I stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and two teenage boys, and it was a perfect set up for us. The building was very quiet and the apartment was equipped with everything you could need. The underground parking was very convenient and we were just a few minutes from many restaurants, markets, and shopping. Anna was a pleasure to deal with!

Super Clean, Awesome Location, GREAT HOSTS!!!

We had to make a last minute reservation for stay over a month in June. Buy, the owner was great and accommodating. The plan was flawless, there were bottled water provided to let us thought for a few days. Kitchen is very spacious with a lot of space to have family meals and very well equipped. The owner provided with a huge variety of teas, coffee (including decaf), dry groceries (pasta, cereal, jams, nuts, crackers, etc). Enough toilet paper and paper towels for us to use for more then three weeks (we bought more before we left :). The bedding is so comfortable, a lot of towels and bed linens. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Just a few min drive to Universal Studios and 40min drive to Disney Land. Beach is 20 min easy drive. The owners were responsive and gave us a lot of advised on what to do, where to go. They were always there for us. Thank you!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Loved it there and coming back next time we are in LA. Thank you Galina for your warm welcome to United States!

Not to be trusted

First the positive - the apartment is roomy. Great layout and it was clean at arrival.

A huge negative, however, and why I would not rent from them again -

We took the insurance option and now the owner has filed a claim for a broken screen door and sliding door. The claim agains the insurance policy is for roughly $1400. We did not break any doors. Neither door worked properly and were very difficult to open. The screen door popped off its tracks (and does not need to be replaced). Same with sliding door.

This is a case of an owner taking advantage of the insurance policy to replace an old door that, again, was not operating properly.

So if you rent from these people, be very cautious about what they might claim afterwards.

I find this to be insurance fraud and I hope the insurance company denies their claim.

A minor other item that I wouldn't hold against them - there wasn't a cable box in the apartment. The wifi, however, was totally fine.

Too bad really. Good location if you're going to Universal. Not close to Disney though.

Owner's Response: Dear Rebecca, many thanks for your review and letting me know your concern. But I may I rely my side of the story. Before you checked in the property was inspected by the member of my family and the balcony door was working FINE. It was also confirmed by our long time house keeper who cleaned the apartment for you and your family morning your checked in. After you checked out the door was inspected by a professional and we were advised that the damage most likely happened because someone leaned on/pushed the door from inside and tried to manually fixed it after and some of it got the door frame to bend little bit. The contractor tried to "unbend" it but could not, thus told us it has to be replaced and advised on the price of the whole door/glass/frame replacement including the labor. This is how we got the amount to submit to the insurance. Also, a day or so you checked out you called re this door not being in the working condition. I would assume if it did not work from the day you came you would have called re damage right away. Since you called only almost before checking out it made me think that the damage had occurred during your stay, not before you checked in. May I also suggest that without clarifying the situation directly with me it is not the way of dealing with an issue placing the wrongful judgment about the insurance fraud without not knowing any details, not too mention it is not true and your blame is unfair. The reason VRBO made the insurance available for the travelers is exactly to make sure that if any damage occur to the property while the guests are staying to make sure that the issues could be resolved/fixed without stress to the traveler and/or the owner. As of the Cable Box. We have a basic cable which is indicated in the property description on this website. A couple of years ago the Time Warner Cable (our cable company) started to have a small adaptor vs a cable box for basis proogramming thus we just can not have a cable box as for our plan is does not exist anymore :) . Again, thank you very much for staying with us and submitting the review. I hope you could change your point of you re your stay after I had a chance to tell you my story. Spotless, calm and comfortable

We had such a great time in this apartment. It is big, wonderfully decorated and spotless. Everything has been thought to make one feels comfortable. The kitchen has everything one could dream, the beds are very comfortable and the kid room made our 6 year feel right at home. We' d love to come back!

Cozy, homey place close to all the action!

We stayed at the Sherman Oaks condo while my husband was recovering from heart surgery at UCLA, and it was a perfect little spot! Very cozy two-bedroom (beds were VERY comfy!), two-bathroom with a nice living room and fully-equipped kitchen. The patio was a nice spot to relax and get fresh air. The condo is very pretty. It doesn't get much direct sunlight, so if you want to get lots of sleep it's perfect!

The pool and barbecue area for the complex is very nice, and all of the neighbors we 'met' were warm and friendly.

The location is wonderful! Close to the freeway and lots of restaurants and shops, but nestled in a very pretty and quiet neighborhood ... great for walking! It's also walking distance to the Westfield Fashion Square mall ... a great place!

The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and requests and made us feel very welcome from the start. And you can't beat the reserved parking spot. We always felt very safe!
