Ideally located for relaxing holiday

Lovely tastefully furnished villa located in quiet residential area of Calpe but within 1km of both the Levante and Arenal beaches. From the roof terrace you have a glorious view of the Penon De Ifach. The villa is built on two levels with the upper level comprising two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very spacious lounge and dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a 'sun-trap' naya and with the lower level having two bedrooms, a lounge, a bathroom and a kitchen. Outside the villa there is an inviting 8 X 4m pool with outside shower surrounded by lush vegetation in the garden. Adjacent to the pool is another extensive terrace and BBQ area with access to a 'bar' room.

Perfect, ideal location, the Villa has everything you need.

We have just returned after spending two weeks in Casajuanita Villa. 9 of us enjoyed the stay immensely. You have everything you need in the villa.

The children loved the pool and spent many an evening playing. We also enjoyed the evening BBQ's. Jayne and Jim who own the villa were great to correspond with via email and answered every question I sent them.

Things to do in Calpe; visit the old town on the little train, take the Tram to Altea, Altea is absolutely beautiful especially the Old Town. You can also take the tram to Benidorm. We were a little apprehensive visiting Benidorm but the Old Town is definitely worth a visit. It surprised all of us, plus the beach in Benidorm is fab. You can just get a taxi from the Villa to the tram station for £11 euros. The tram to Altea cost £16 euros for all 9 of us (return).

Donna and Danny the neighbours could not do enough for us, lovely people.

We had the most amazing time in Calpe and would definitely recommend this Villa. We didn't want to come home!!!!!

Beautiful, well equipped villa in a great location

Really nice outdoor space and pool, not overlooked. Nice stroll to the beach in 15 mins, or Calpe centro in about 25 mins. We had a fantastic time.

Excellent for relaxing family or group holiday

The house was just as we expected from reading the info on this page. It was a bit dusty outside on arrival (probably due to dry weather). Otherwise the house was clean and contained everything one might need. The outside poolarea was private and much appreciated by both young and old during these hot days. The house has an excellent location, with walking distance to the beach and city center. (We did not need to rent a car.)

We especially appreciated the very helpful neighboor, whom we could contact for any sort of questions about the house and Calpe.

"Superbe séjour à Calpe dans cette villa parfaitement adaptée aux besoins de nos deux familles. Cette location, proche des commerces et de la mer, nous a séduits par sa tranquillité. La piscine comme le jardin sont très bien entretenus.

Nous avons apprécié également son environnement (la région de Calpe, magnifique, est à découvrir absolument).

Calpe lies 70km to the north of Alicante Airport. The drive to Calpe from Alicante Airport is straightforward and passes through some wonderful scenery.

On leaving the airport follow the road heading to the E-15, A-7 toward Benidorm, Valencia and Murcia , keep straight on this road, going under an overhead sign for E-15, A-70 Valencia and Murcia. Keep straight ahead, preparing to turn right for the E-15, A-70 toward Valencia. Soon you will come to two overhead signs. One sign is for E-15, A-70 to Murcia and Cartagena, the other is for the E-15, A-70 to Alicante, Benidorm and Valencia. The left lane which is signposted Cartagena will take you South. Do not go in this lane!. The right lane is signposted Alicante, Benidorm and Valencia and will take you North, this is the correct direction. As you branch onto the motorway you can relax as you will not be turning off until Junction 64. Along the way you will pass the city of Alicante, Villajoyosa and then come to pass the expanse of Benidorm on your right. To the left above Benidorm is Terra Mitica theme park. You will pass through one road toll on the motorway, the current toll fee is 4.05 euro.

After you have left Benidorm behind you will start to see signs for Altea and Calpe/Calp (the Valencian spelling is without the E), you should exit the motorway at junction 64 where you will join the N332.

Calpe is a large but traditional Spanish town that boasts many excellent shops , beaches, restaurants and bars. The main attraction is undoubtedly the beautiful blue flag beaches with golden sand and crystal clear water. The whole resort of Calpe is dominated by the huge Peñon de Ifach, an enormous Gibraltar like rock which separates the two main beach areas of Playa la Fossa and Playa Cantal Roig.

The Peñon de Ifach is a Natural Park which is the symbol of the whole Costa Blanca. It is 332m high and extends for a kilometre out to sea. You can climb to the top from the information office at its base but whether you'd want to in the summer heat is another matter.

The Blue Flag Beach of Playa de la Fossa is a first class beach with golden sand and excellent facilities including several children's play areas, tennis courts and even a bowling green.

The other side of the Peñon is a smart marina followed by a narrow, rocky beach called Playa Cantal Roig. A promenade (Paseo Infanta Elena) runs from here past a Roman fish farm and Roman baths as far as another superb beach at Playa Arenal-Bol. The end of this 2000m long beach is pretty much in the old town.

The old town of Calpe is worth a wander around to see some historical buildings and squares. There's a street market every Saturday in the town and a flea market every Wednesday. In the summer months there are crafts fairs in the old town. Another worthwhile visit is to the daily fish auction at La Lonja in the port. These take place every weekday afternoon at 5pm.
