Located in the heart of Miami Beach, this Oceanfront Beach Resort known as The Alexander, is recognized for its intimacy, charm, and proximity to major attractions and night life – less than 2 miles to the center of South Beach. HORA VACATION RENTALS owns as well as manages on behalf of owners many of the finest units in this residential resort. This fabulous property has direct access to the beach and ocean just steps away from our two private lagoon shaped pools and two hot tubs.

Apartment 1620 at The Alexander (on the 16th floor) is newly decorated (in spring 2014) and has bonus third private sleeping area off living room with sliding doors (expands to larger living area by day and 3rd bedroom by night). This is a large 1200 sq ft 2.5 bedroom, 2 bathroom premium corner apartment with magnificent views, and 20 ft balcony. The apartment is fully furnished and has two queen size beds in the master bedroom and 4 twin size beds in the guest bedroom and a pull out sofa sleeper in living room. One of our recent guests commented about their stay and said "The views were amazing! From the balcony you can see all of Miami, as well as ocean and beach. We especially enjoyed the view at night. We were also thankful for the additional sleeping made available by converting the bedroom off the living room area. The sliding wall worked very well for the 3rd bedroom and was a clever way to gain space during the day and privacy in the evening.”

Apartment sleeps up to 8 guests (the base rate includes up to 7 guests, additional guest is $35 per night plus tax). Please select number of adults and children and rates will adjust accordingly.

Rental includes complimentary use of fitness center, sauna, steam room, 2 hot tubs, 2 heated pools with chaise lounges, umbrellas and towels, and direct access to private beach. Full amenities including concierge, bellhop, valet parking (additional fees apply), gift shop, coin operated washer/dryer on each floor, high speed Wi-Fi, two swimming pools, hot tubs, waterfall, pool towels, lounges and umbrellas at pool, playground, direct access to beach and water sports, beauty salon and spa.

Notice: The Alexander is going through some renovations and construction projects that may be prevalent during non-holidays and non-weekends (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. We will make every effort to assign units that are not directly affected by these disturbances. Based on unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control we may need to assign an alternate unit in the same resort of equal or greater value. In the event of disturbances such as construction noise, we will make every effort to resolve the situation, but do not take responsibility or provide refunds if these types of disturbances occur during weekdays between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

The Alexander is located at 5225 Collins Avenue and is nestled on one of the most luxurious strips of Miami Beach known as “Millionaires Row.” Our property characterizes the chic style and sophistication of archetypal Miami Beach and its surrounding areas. Upon arrival you will be inspired by our classical wooden staircase and exquisite crystallized chandeliers that define our lobby. and entranceway. Our residential resort offers expansive contemporary fully equipped apartments ranging in different sizes and décor, with full kitchens, dining area, balconies and beautiful views.

Local activities and attractions include bicycling, water sports, wind sailing, snorkeling, boating, deep sea fishing, Parrot Jungle, Seaquarium, Miami Children’s Museum, Theatre, historic Art Deco district and so much more. Conveniently located just minutes from South Beach, 20 minutes from the Miami International Airport, the Port of Miami, Brickell and downtown business district.

The Alexander #1620 - A wonderful corner unit condo!

Mark and his management staff are helpful and easy to work with! We were originally renting a different apartment at The Alexander, but requested to be relocated due to on-site construction noise. Upon being alerted of the construction noise, Mark and his staff worked quickly to move my extended family and I (a party of 10) into this unit and also the unit next door. Apartment 1620 was exceptionally clean, spacious, well-appointed, and quiet(!). The large balcony offers great views of the ocean on one side, and of Miami on the other. Overall, an excellent stay at The Alexander and I would definitely rent from HORA Management again!

The communication with HORA was excellent. The staff at Alexander was excellent as well. The concierge really took care of us! The food at Shula's, the pool bar and restaurant and the buffet breakfast at the Garden Terrace were all excellent and reasonably priced. Loved the omelets, streaks, burgers, and avocado salad. The room Itself was just ok. It was clean and decent size. The beds looked old and the unit overall was mediocre - especially when compared to the unit just across the hall which was lovely and much more updated. The eating area, master bedroom and living room is the newest looking. The biggest issue are the thin window panes - you hear everything outside. Great views and great beach! Older building in general. Also keep in mind it is North Beach so the real activity is in South Beach - a 30 minute can ride away. Treat yourself to Lapis Spa (10 min can ride) - fabulous!

The apartment was absolutely lovely and accommodated my family of 7 very comfortably. If there was a problem it was taken care of immediately. The pool area is great, good service for food and drinks at the pool, towel service, beach access great. The only problem was proximity to a grocery store. Otherwise our stay was delightful.

This year I celebrated my 38 birthday, and my friends and I decided to take a quick trip to Miami! I went online to search for the perfect rental property that could accommodate a group of 8. I was instantly drawn to "1620!" I was the first to arrive to the unit and was happy that the description and photos were an accurate representation! The unit was big enough to accommodate 8, yet cozy enough to feel like home. The only issue we encountered was a lack of towels. This was quickly, and easily rectified with a quick email. Housekeeping immediately brought up more than enough extra towels! I was very happy with our stay, would quickly stay again, and would happily recommend this property to anyone!

Alexander es un Condo muy Comfortable!!!

Siempre viajo a Miami y recomiendo mucho esta propiedad ,la ubicacion del hotel es excelente,con vista al mar y a la bahia,y las facilidades del Hotel son buenas ya que tienen todo lo que muestran en las fotos,y el acceso a la playa es totalmente seguro,el otro punto muy importante es que esta cerca del South Beach,de Lincoln ave,del Aeropuerto de Miami,etc,en una zona tranquila del bullicio y cerca de Hoteles de lujo.

El Checking fue muy facil con Hora y la unit 1620 es exactamente como lo muestran y es muy espaciosa con maravillosas vistas.Definitivamente volveria .Nos alojamos 7 personas bien acomodadas y nos quedamos 6 noches.

Translation from guest...."Whenever I travel to Miami and highly recommend this property, the location of the hotel is excellent, overlooking the sea and the bay, and the hotel facilities are good as they have everything shown in the pictures, and access to the beach is totally safe, the other very important point is that this near South Beach, Lincoln Ave, Miami Airport, etc., in a quiet area near the hustle and luxury hotels. The Checking was very easy with time and the unit 1620 is exactly as shown and very spacious with wonderful vistas.Definitivamente would return .We stayed 7 people well accommodated and we were 6 nights."
