Beach side Vacation Home With Pool, 4 Rooms 2 Bath Newly Renovated Beach Home

Bedrooms 4
Space 1,800 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 1 - 5 nights

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6

This beach vacation home will provide you with all the leisure and relaxing elements to enjoying your beach vacation getaway. An open floor plan with hardwood floors and large tile throughout will bring a peaceful sanctuary when you arrive. The updated home includes remodeling of both bathrooms and the kitchen creating a relaxing high end environment. The interior is decorated in a beach themed manner but not over the top. There is ample room for eight guests and plenty of space to relax.

The backyard pool area comes with relaxing chairs to enjoy the sun and relax. As well as floating devices for the children or adults to play with. These will be located in the Florida room or in the chest outside by the pool.

The best part of this home is the location. You are a 4 min walk to the beach. Load up your stuff and walk, or load up the vehicle and drive .1 miles pay 5 dollars to park on the beach with all your stuff and spend the day soaking up the sun.

I hope you will enjoy this house as much as we do. I still consider this home even though we live in another state a thousand miles away. I look forward to visiting this home every chance we can make it to Florida.

If you are spending your time here for the beach, it is the perfect place. We are a direct 4 min walk to the beach, or a 1 min drive that only requires you to make one turn to drive straight onto the Harvard Drive entrance to drive your beach buggy on the sand. Once your tires meet sand drive down the beach until you find a spot. Park it and enjoy the surf. Or you can walk or drive to the beach 100 yards north of the Harvard Drive beach entrance and park and hang out at the Andy Romano Park on the beach. At this Park there is a splash pad, a jungle jim for the kids, and a drive free beach in front of the Park to keep your kids safe.

Here is a link to Andy Romano Park:

If your vacation is here to spend time in the water and soak up the sun. Our house is perfect. We have a large pool that is more than adequate for a family with children to jump in the pool while you float peacefully in your pool chair. The pool comes with floaty toys and chairs on site. There is an outdoor table to enjoy sitting outside for meals and soak up all the sun.

Lets say you are speeding down for the events at Daytona International Speedway. We are 15 minutes from the facility. It is an easy simple drive to get to the Race track yet away from all the frenzy when the races are over. This is the sanctuary for you after the sunburn while cruising around and in the stadium. Yes, I've been there got the sunburn.

If you are coming to enjoy some local food, music and beverages. This is also the place. We are located so close to an area of local restaurants and bars. There is always something going on, across the street at Riptides(local), beach bucket (Local, great small bar ON THE BEACH), The Black Sheep Pub and Eatery (local Irish).

Then just a few yards down the street from these restaurants are Bone Fish Grille, Olive Garden, Peppers Mexican Grille, Denny's, Ruby Tuesday's, Charlie Horse(local), Dimitri's bar and grille(greek), and McDonalds. All very well within walking distance of Home base. I'm telling you location is fantastic.

And just in case you want to stay in and make something. There is a grocery store (Publix) that will offer everything you need. (When we make a trip down there we go to the seafood section order up a couple pounds of crab legs, have them seasoned and steamed at Publix Grocery store and then carry them home and devour them.) Hmm…it's Delicious!

Alright, enough about food.

Lets say you are looking to go to Disney World or any of the parks in Orlando. Yes, it is a drive into orlando from our house. It takes a little over an hour to get to the Park, but in the grand scheme. How awesome would it be to visit the amazing beach and visit disney in the same vacation. Its the best of both worlds and creates a relaxing day without all the walking and hectic touristy people you run into constantly while in orlando. Just stay at our place and plan a couple beach/ pool days at a place all to yourselves.

Disney is awesome, I know I went there my first time as a thirty year old. I am just saying how much better is it to stay at a house with a sea breeze than in hot humid orlando with no sea breeze and no beach. ;-)

If you are still reading this, Thanks. I just wanted to say this is not an investment property, this is a home. Yes we are renting it out to cover our cost of the home but I still want people who stay at our house to appreciate what it is and not take advantage of it being a rental. We are looking for people to come back every year and use it to make memories and bring them closer together.

I hope you will enjoy this house as much as we do. I still consider this home even though we live in another state a thousand miles away. I look forward to visiting this home every chance we can make it to Florida.

Thanks for viewing,

Seth and Julie

About Seth Brown

We are the home owners of this wonderful house. Renovation began right after we completed the purchase. This home brings us joy because we made it exactly how we wanted. The location is perfect and I (the husband) misses walking to the beach and living in it everyday.

Seth Brown purchased this house in 2010

Why Seth Brown chose Daytona Beach

We bought this house because we loved the layout and the location. We lived in this house for the past 4 years and now have moved closer to family. We are hanging onto this house as our vacation home. Sounds funny to say considering we did not purchase it with that intent.

Since we live a thousand miles away we would like to offer our home to others to rent as a weekly rental vacation for others to enjoy.

What makes this house unique

The unique benefits of this home is the 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. This home also comes with a two car garage and a large swimming pool. The house has a beautiful updated open floor plan with many updated features ( kitchen and bathrooms, indoor hammocks).

I am telling you the location of this home is perfect. it is not in the packed down town Daytona Beach streets or high traffic areas but it is busy enough to have all the amenities you need during vacation like restaurants, grocery store and fun at the beach.

When people stay at our house during the warmer months they will spend a couple of days just hanging out in the pool. Even though the beach is just a short walk away.

Clean, comfortable house

  • 4 of 5

We loved staying here. The house is beautifully set up and clean, with plenty of dishes and cookware (with the exception of potentially knives and bowls). We have a large family, and the gathering area inside is really one big room (the hanging seat only can really seat one adult), so we were a bit on top of each other but loved using the pool and the access to the beach!

Great place for large families

  • 5 of 5

Visited this home the week after Easter with family & friends. All together we had 4 adults and 6 kids under the age of 8. We had a large group but had plenty of room and were all very comfortable. The house was pretty, updated and very clean.

It was stormy the day we arrived and a lot of debris had fallen in the pool. We contacted the property manager and she & the owner sent out someone to clean the pool the next morning (ahead of the regularly scheduled pool maintenance).

We absolutely loved the location of this home. We had never heard of Ormond Beach, but will definitely come again. It was quiet and not crowded, but the activities of Daytona are a very short drive away. Even though the beach could be reached by walking in about 3 minutes, we chose to drive the extra couple of blocks to Andy Romano Park. We had a lot of tiny children and a lot of gear so we felt that this was the easier/safer option. The park was one of the best parts of our stay. We would get there around 930 or 10am and were one of the first people on the beach. Finding parking was never a problem. The park also had clean public restrooms and a concession stand which were also invaluable with little kids.

We had a great experience! Thanks for letting us stay!

Owner's Response: First off, thank you for the review. I am excited you and your family had a wonderful stay. Please look us up again if you are looking to make your way down. There are more kid friendly and adult activities to explore in the Daytona/ Ormond Beach area. The next time you come to visit Ormond, there are many activities to do on your vacation. (i.e. turtle sactuary, Daytona Speedway Drivers Course, fun beachside and riverside restaurants and many more.) I mentioned that note for you and future visitors. And again Thank You for staying!

Great 4 bedroom home

  • 4 of 5

Just got back from our 6 day stay at the property. Overall we were very satisfied with the home. It offered everything we wanted. It is very hard to find a four bedroom home listed. The home itself was updated 3/4 of the way. The outside of the home was neglected, no curb appeal at all. The backyard needed a good gardener and the decking around the beautiful pool took away from its beauty. The plastic chairs were all cracked and the metal chairs were peeling. The outside screened in lanai needed some updates also.

We were very happy about the inside part of the home. I myself was a landlord of a condo and I know how hard it is to satisfy renters in Florida. Everything has to be in tip top condition. I would recommend changing the towels and bedding periodically. I always updated my things in the home I rented. I also would like to see more furniture in the bedrooms, nightstands. lamps, etc.

Veronica was a very good property manager. Thank you for letting us rent your home.

Owner's Response: Louis- Thank you for your review. We are excited you enjoyed our home as much as we do. Since the house is so close to the beach the landscaping can be difficult. We have switched lawn care providers. I am sad to hear the chairs were broken by another visitor, we replaced them with new ones. Also, the linens are laundered by a professional service and replaced regularly. They do get worn and that’s why we ask they are only used in the house. We are glad you enjoyed our pool and proximity to the beach!! It really is a wonderful escape from the real world!

Nice vacation

  • 4 of 5

Visited this home for the week of 4th of July with family. House was very clean upon arrival and is spacious. We did have a few minor issues but nothing major that couldn't be handled. Owner and property manager are easy to get in contact with and very nice. House is equipped with plenty of linens as well as cooking utensils. We really enjoyed the short distance to Andy Romano park as it is great for small children (my children are age 2 & 4). You can get just about anywhere you need to go without needing a car, the house is in a fantastic location. The neighborhood is very quiet. We do plan to stay here again should we need this amount of space.

It is such a great place for them play. I am sorry for the issues with the refrigerator, but thank you for notifying us. Have a wonderful rest of your summer and let us know you have stayed with us the next time you inquire. Thanks again!

This place is AMAZING!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with family and friends and chose this house because of the location to the beach. We got so much more!! The weather was absolutely perfect, and so was the house. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood across from the school, a great location for peace and quiet. The house is also perfectly maintained and includes everything you need for a stay. The beds were so comfortable, and the open floor plan allows for great conversations no matter where you are in the house. We drove from NY, and although the drive was part of the fun, we only did it because we thought we would need a car for the week. We found the opposite to be true, and next year when we go (DEFINITELY!!!) we will not drive as we can fly into Daytona, and take a 10 minute cab ride to the house (its about 3 miles). Doing this will allow for a longer stay and less road travel. The Publix grocery store is closely located (3 blocks or so, easy to walk to and we did several times) as are the restaurants and other amenities. We walked to the beach every morning and evening to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The beach is about 5 minutes away if you are walking, but there are also bikes at the house if you choose. If the beach isn't your thing, there is a beautiful private pool in the back. Everyone that was with us was very happy about the house we chose, it can be a scary thing when picking a rental from the internet. We hope to spend my wife's 41st birthday at Ormond Beach!! The owners have a perfect rental. We really loved it, thank you so much for letting us stay here.

The businesses and activities around this vacation home are plenty. Surrounding the neighborhood will meet all your necessities as well. The grocery store is .25 mile away and a hospital is located down the road about 4 miles for any medical need.

Food is aplenty, there is nice dining with Bone Fish grille to fast food McDonald, to grocery store purchasing for home cooked meals and everything in between. There are the home town restaurants with local flavor to the big chain restaurants like olive garden. These are all within walking distance 1/2 mile or less.

In this same area is a water park on the beach. Recently opened two years ago a lovely park with a non driving beach to keep kids safe allows you and your children to splash in their large splash pad and play on the soft ground play ground equipment.
