Located in a 100-year-old stone house on a street by the sea, this apartment offers both proximity to Old Town (15-20 minutes walking distance) and quiet seclusion. Upon entering the property you have stepped into vine-covered walkways, lush greenery, fruit trees with spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. A 5-minute walk in either direction will lead you to one of Dubrovnik’s few sand & pebble beaches.

Splendid Holiday in Dubrovnik
The flat was wonderful. Quiet, clean, spacious (for a family of 3), close to beaches, markets and town. Kate was very responsive to communications and super friendly. We wouldnt have changed a thing. We highly recommend!
Surpassed All Expectations
We were met at the airport by Kate's sister-in-law and driven the half hour journey to what is a stunning apartment. This is our first time using the HomeAway website so we were not exactly sure what to expect. However, we need have had no concerns, Kate was an outstanding host offering us a very warm welcome to her beautiful home. This is a family run business and it is clear that they take great pride in the house and its lavish surroundings. The apartment could best be described as old world elegance meets modern requirements. Wi-Fi was good which pleased our two teenage daughters!
Our first impressions of the apartment were how well finished, well appointed and spotlessly clean it was. The views from the windows and balcony are breathtaking. In all our travels, we have never encountered such scenic surroundings. These need to be experienced through a visit to this apartment as trying to describe them would definitely not do them justice . Just look at the pictures on the website - these are entirely accurate.
The house is located an optimum 15-20 minutes walk from the Old Town Dubrovnik meaning it is far enough away from the crowds but within easy access along a scenic road that offers stunning views of the city. The nearby Jakov beach is far superior to the busy beach beside the Old Town and has good facilities and a more sedate atmosphere - it is also serviced by a nice beach-side restaurant serving great fresh fish dishes and snacks. Be aware, there are many steps around Dubrovnik, and the beaches are no exceptions, so be prepared to climb.
The Old Town needs no introduction and is rightly renowned for its character and beauty. The Island of Lokrum is easily reachable from the Old Port and is well worth a visit.
Kate was a first class host who kept us well informed throughout our visit and was always on hand for any general enquiries we might have had. By the end of our stay we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend - something we've rarely experienced.
In conclusion, we would highly recommend a stay at this property, owned by genuinely nice people - you will not regret it.

Absolutely wonderful place that is close to the old town but not in .
Kates place was perfect for us . The view was amazing that we woke up to every morning and enjoyed our coffee on the deck. It is about a 10 minute walk to the old town walls but your away from the hustle and bustle of the town and the view is well worth it! The beds are super comfy. Kitchen well appointed . We took advantage of the 3 day Dubrovnik pass which was well worth the cost as it is basically the cost the walk the walls and we had 6 bus passes and a bus pass to Cavtat. There are a couple of grocery stores about 5 minutes away from Kates place as well.
I am happy that you pointed out the position of our house with apartments, which is near to The Old Town but also in quiet green area for relaxing.
A most wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik
Everything about our stay in this rental was wonderful. When making the reservation for the property, contact with the owner was informative and friendly. The apartment is a beautiful walk along the sea to the gate of the walled city. A small beach is a short walk away. What is stunning is the view of the sea, the island of Lokrum and the walled city. The apartment has a wonderful modern equipped kitchen and has everything you need to cook a meal. The covered veranda also offers a view of the sea. The beds are very comfortable and the furnishings especially in the front bedroom are beautiful. The most wonderful thing is the view and the warm, friendly and efficient attention of the property owner. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Kate.
We could not have wished for a better location. Our host was amazing. Walking distance to Old Town.
Beautiful property, great view of the old town and stunning sunsets. Perfect weather. The apartment had everything we needed. Our host was close by and was a delight.

She met us at the apartment and was so friendly, informative and helpful throughout our stay.. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik - the city of a unique political and cultural history (the Dubrovnik Republic, the Statute from 1272), of world-famous cultural heritage and beauty (inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO) - is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the Mediterranean. Apart from its outstanding natural beauties and well-preserved cultural and historical heritage, Dubrovnik also offers high-quality visitor opportunities. It is also the city of hotels, of high ecological standards and tourist programs, and is equally attractive in all seasons. Its geographical isolation is compensated by high traffic and communication standards - especially through air traffic and fast hydrofoil boats.
