Hale Kailani is a plantation-style private home on the ocean bluff in Kauai's beautiful North Shore resort community of Princeville. The entire house looks out through large sliding glass doors and windows onto a magnificent whitewater ocean view. Wide steps lead down from the covered lanai to a sweeping lawn rimmed with Norfolk pines, plumeria trees and coconut palms. A small gazebo sits perched on the bluff for secluded rainbow and sunset watching. The interior decor is tropical with lots of rattan, white wicker and colorful island fabrics. Natural oak paneling covers the walls throughout most of the house. Ceilings are open beam with skylights and ceiling fans.
One bedroom has a king-size bed and adjoining bath with jacuzzi tub and an oversize shower. Another large bedroom has two queen-size beds and a bathroom. The upstairs bedroom with one queen-size bed and adjoining bathroom with shower has a 360-degree view of the ocean, coastline and surrounding mountains.
The house is supplied with everything you will need for comfortable living from beach towels to barbeque. There's a TV, VCR, stereo, telephone, washer,dryer, ironing board, books, games, plenty of linens and a fully equipped kitchen.

Activities nearby: A short drive takes you to Princeville center for plenty of shopping and restaurants, the Princeville Hotel and two of Hawaii's finest golf courses, the 27-hole Mahai and the 18-hole Prince. 7 miles to Hanalei for beaches and great hiking. Here you can also arrange for diving and kayaking on the Hanalei River. A short drive south to Kilauea with its old lighthouse, bird sanctuary, charming shops and restaurants.
