This is a well thought out vacation rental. The home is spotless, the kitchen has everything you need to make fabulous meals. The dining area in the kitchen can seat six, plus there is an additional dining area near the living room. Large bedrooms with queen sized beds and sitting areas. Hardwood floors throughout. Patio area has furniture and table for six. Walkable neighborhood with a huge grassy park right across the street. Easy walk to the market and other shops and stores. Many interesting food choices close by.

About Douglas

In 1991, I started a jewelry manufacturing business in Albuquerque having repatriated from a stint working at Sharp Electronics in Osaka, Japan. In 2006, I was itching to take on my dream to run a remodeling company. That, was the beginning of ABQ Pad Rentals and the vacation rental business.

Douglas purchased this house in 2008

Great stay!

We had a great stay! Clean and spacious house with great outdoor patio space. Enjoyed the park right across the street with our two year old. Owner was quick to reply to questions and very helpful. Added bonus, this house is a walk-able distance from Sprouts. Highly recommended!

I had this home listed more than a year ago on and rented it to a family that ended staying a year! That listing expired. So your visit was the first one since I re-listed Route 66 on a new VRBO vacation rental offer. I'm so glad you got out of the car and walked our neighborhood. Doug provided a clean house with all the amenities we needed.

We have now stayed at 2 properties that Doug manages. He is prompt in responding to questions and very helpful on knowledge of the local area. Both homes were very clean and well stocked with the items we needed. I would heartily recommend looking for a property that Doug was controlling. We will certainly look for him if we are in Albuquerque again👍🏼

This Nob Hill property was a great place to stay as we started our New Mexico adventure. Very comfortable, felt like home and is in a super great neighborhood. It was easy to get to and was the perfect launch into our vacation. Would for sure stay there again.

Very comfortable and clean

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is also near shopping. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the comforts of home, with comfortable beds and furniture. The bathroom had plenty of room for all the necessities. When we needed to stay an extra day because of a snow storm between Albuquerque and our home, Doug was very accommodating. We will certainly stay here again when we are in Albuquerque. Thank you Doug for having such a nice home for travelers.
