Guest Book: I recently rented La Grange and had an absolutely fabulous time. The photos that you have on the website do not do the place justice! We have taken some really good shots if you would like some!
We really enjoyed the place and would definitely recommend it to others and are even thinking of coming back ourselves.
Thanks for arranging our holiday.
I've been meaning to send you an email after we returned from our holiday.
I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had. The accommodation was
superb and the swimming pool was a great hit. Everything was in excellent
order and we would highly recommend it to our friends.
Thanks again and if we go to France in the future we will definitely contact
Best wishes and thank you for all your help.
Guest Book: We spent a wonderful two weeks at Le Grange. We found it the best Farm House we have rented in France.
We made an entry in the comments book (positive!) but forgot to mention we could have done with a garlic press (we had a good look in the kitchen but couldn't find one anywhere).

Just returned from Le Fournil and wanted to thank you for a great property let. The house is superb and finished to a high standard. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed the week.
With kind regards
We had a lovely time there and were delighted with the property and all the attention to detail which had obviously gone into everything. The weather was great, which meant we took full advantage of the pool and BBQ facilities.
Please would you thank Madame Jeanne and Michel for their hard work and for making our stay so pleasant. Thanks once again for a great holiday - maybe we will do it again
Guest Book: In regard to the first week's property, there is absolutely no comparison with this one. We thought it was absolutely superb. In every way. The decor was clean and modern and there had clearly been some money spent in order that fixtures and fittings were of a certain quality. The tiling finish was very impressive. The mattresses were obviously purchased with comfort in mind as oppose to budget. Quite simply, I would highly recommend the property if someone wanted to stay in the area.

We had a fabulous holiday staying in La Grange. The accommodation was more
than expected, particularly all the facilities for the children-especially the
pool. The conversion is lovely, so relaxing.
Many thanks, we will return in the future and recommend La Grange to our

After a tiring drive we arrived at le Founil and La grange and were thrilled. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. La Grange is straight from the pages of Homes and Gardens! Perfect accomodation for more than one family, both homes have everything you could possibly need. Our children adored the large gardens and play equipment and the pool. If the weather is good, you really wont want to leave the houses! We have stayed in many gites and houses in France, and these were definitely the best equipped.
La Fournil was the perfect place for relaxing, lazing by the pool and cooking and eating long, lovely "family" meals (we were a group of 10 friends and a baby) both in and out doors. The property is beautifully finished, very well equipped and in a picturesque location close enough to walk to the local supermarket and town but still with a very rural feel. The property owner was very helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. I would go back right now if I could!
The listing description was very accurate regarding the whole house, it's layout, facilities and location. It was immaculate and very well maintained. We were greeted shortly after our arrival by the House keeper, Jeanette. She was very lovely and introduced us to what we needed to know with ease. Be aware that she doesn't seem to speak any English - luckily I speak French fairly fluently. That said, she is so lovely and I am sure even if you don't speak French, she would still be able to show you what you need to know.
I would highly recommend this property to other people. It is in absolutely stunning grounds with great outdoor play areas for the children and the house itself is beautiful.
Sue was very helpful when we booked the house and answered any questions we had.
We will be keeping the details of the house as we want to see if just the 3 of us can find someone else to share one of the houses with!
Thank you Sue - you have a beautiful house and it made our stay very enjoyable.

Great house for the nine of us. Cool in summer and hot outside. The pool was great; good size and well maintained. You share it with the other property but that wasnt a problem for us; my guess is most guests are families so our children played togehter. We sat outside most nights and drank lots of wine. The kitchen was well provided for, and the washing machine was used a lot as we had 4 girls with us, so they had to wear lots of different clothes! The local village is a 3 minute drive and, for such a small place, has a good supermarket, and excellent bakers and a 'locals' bar. You can see it all on Google Maps / Drive through. Oh yes, and as per all French villages it has a Pharmacy! Good Tennis courts too. The Chateau is very impressive and both the tourist board employees spoke excellent english and were able to help with good advice. After the village, the next, larger supermarket is about 20 minutes away. This is a rural area, but we found lots to do within 45 minute drives, including Canoeing, Go Ape type activities and beautiful villages. You can swim in the local rivers too which is good fun. We only went to 3 local restaurants but these were excellent. To get back home the other family with us left at 8am, went via Paris on what was meant to be the busiest (last) Saturday in August, and were on a ChannelTunnel Shuttle at 2.45. We went on country roads, up to Chartres fro lunch, via Rouen, and caught the 5pm Shuttle. A relatively easy place to get to in a day. All in all a great place, with excellent support from James Millard of JLM France who manages it. Thanks again.
Azay le Ferron is situated in the Indre in the centre of France. It is in the Parc Naturel Regional de la Brenne, also known as the 'Park of 1000 lakes'. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty which offers activities for all age groups. The area is very popular with nature-lovers, and is a major centre for bird-watching. The nearby Bellebouche leisure complex at Mezieres en Brenne offers water sports and fishing, and there are several local golf courses. For children, the Parc de la Haute Touche, one of the biggest wildlife parks in Europe, is just 5 minutes away, and the Futuroscope Amusement park in Poitiers is well worth a visit . With numerous magnificent Chateaux and gardens within easy reach, it is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Loire Valley.
