What makes this house unique

Great value for a recently renovated home. We do not rent this out frequently, just a couple of weekends per season and when we have those, we stop taking reservations. Beautifully appointed and with the main living area on the second level with a wraparound deck, you feel like you are in a Pete Nelson treehouse!

Lovely experience, enjoy so much 👍

The property had it's own character , cosy, warm, neat and clean. Enough heating system though out the house, you will not feel cold inside the house at all😀. The owner fast respond on all the messages. Our family had a great time stay there.

But you need to take all the garbage with you when you leave, which no damper at the .We are so glad to have chance to stay in this property. Love it 😀

Warm and Inviting

  • 5 of 5

We loved the Treehouse, the kitchen is new with an open floor plan and beautiful views out the large windows. Its set back such that you are "in the woods". Arriving on a cold Friday night and warming up by the wood stove is what New England is all about. The area is great too, easy access to the highway, gourmet grocery at Singletons, fun restaurants in Woodstock and of course Killington, Pico and Okemo are all accesable. The owners, George and Val made it so easy to share this property we never really felt like renters, instead the Treehouse was our second home.

Relaxing and fun escape for our whole family!

  • 5 of 5

We had a blast in Quechee with our 8- and 10-year-old daughters. The house was the perfect woodland hideaway -- kids loved the bunk room downstairs, and we loved the master BR upstairs! We were delighted that we could not only enjoy the pool, lake and club facilities (for a small fee), but that the kids could join in the great recreation programs offered by the Quechee Club. We had a wonderful dinner in Woodstock while the kids enjoyed "Kids Night Out" and then they spent a day doing a field trip with the QClub to go rock climbing! We enjoyed hiking Quechee Gorge, and antiquing, too. So many wonderful things to do in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks, George and Val, for sharing your lovely home with us!

Great house for our family!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing place... it's clear that George and his wife did a tremendous amount of work renovating this place - and everything is PERFECT - from the huge kitchen, to the amazing eat-in booth, to the very cool master suite with awesome barn door - this place has it all. We rented it for a birthday weekend getaway, to also catch some of the fall foliage. The set-up was perfect - with the kids downstairs and we got to relax upstairs after they went to bed. We ended up spending even more time at the house since it was so nice! Our kids spent hours on the tree swing, hiking in the Section 5 area, and we even made s'mores in their firepit. Quintessential Quechee Home - about 5-10 mins from the Club so close to everything, yet great feeling of being "out in the woods".
