Great host and location
Antonia was a super nice and considerate host. She gave us a history lesson of the bldg which was very interesting ! She took the time to give us great information on where to buy leather purses. I bought one along with my sister in law. Many thanks from both of us. We were treated like Queens !
Close to everything
Especially liked this place as it was close to everything. Also, the Host was very attentive and helpful!
My guests are always special people and Debra even more. Come back soon.
We are waiting for you
Communication was great, however despite communicating well in advance and confirming just days before our arrival as requested, our arrival time, no one was there to greet us. Antonia found someone to meet us and she was available by phone and whatsapp. We waited 20- 30 minutes. We could sit inside the building. The positive is that she was very attentive. The place is spacious and well equipped including toiletries. It does have fans, but the upstairs sleeping area gets warm. The location is outstanding!!! So close to a Duomo, market, Ponte vecchio, and many other sites. I hate mentioning the hiccup with checking, it happens, but at least with Antonia, you know she is attentive and will respond immediately if any issue arises. That goes a long way.
Dear Anita, thank you for your review. Sorry for the inconvenience of waiting, we tried to do our best. I hope you come back soon and this time, we will try to be impeccable.
Beautiful apartment with lovely host
First of all, let me note that if you have trouble climbing stairs, this apartment is not for you. We did fine, but if you have mobility problems or just don't like climbing be aware there is no elevator and it's a few flights up. Although Antonia notes this, going through some of the reviews it looks like a few people didn't pay attention to that and complained-so consider yourself warned- lots of stairs. With that out of the way let me say how much we enjoyed our stay. Antonia was a lovely host and the apartment is centrally located-we easily walked to the Duomo, museums, and train station. A market is a short walk away, and numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and stores are within an easy walk. The apartment has high ceilings, beautiful floors and is well stocked (although a few more sharp knives would be handy) The bedroom is a loft (more stairs) and gives you a nice view of the apartment and the sun coming in. I wish we had gotten a chance to spend more time with Antonia, she seemed so personable when we met her I would have loved to talk more, but our 3 day whirlwind Florence visit kept us out and about quite a bit. If you want to stay in a centrally located apartment with a gorgeous entryway, a nice kitchen and access to a washing machine, along with a charming host this is the place (and you get some exercise!)
Thank you Antonia for our wonderful stay.

Comfortable, clean, charming apartment in the heart of Florence
Antonia is a great host. She provides a wonderful, spacious, QUIET apartment for your stay in Florence. All amenities are there: a full kitchen, dining area, living area with comfy couches, even laundry facilities. The location is close to all of the sights. We were an hour late arriving but Antonia was there to greet us anyway. All in all, we had a great stay. Highly recommend.

You’ll be not just among monuments, churches, palaces, but also cinemas and theaters, discos, pubs, and - last but not least - close to several very good Tuscan traditional, ethnic or haute cuisine restaurants.
Allow us just to suggest a visit to the nearby Biblioteca delle Oblate (Via dell’Oriuolo 26, from Monday to Friday 8.30 – 18.30, Saturday 8.30 – 13.30, tel. + 39 055261652) the largest City Public Library recently opened in a former convent of wonderful architectural structure, from which you will also able to enjoy one of the finest views over the city.
