The house, located on a hill few kilometers far from te most famous tourist resorts on the Ionian-Etnean seaside, allows to visit every kind of environment and /or landscape in a very short time.
No more than 3 Km from the millenary “Castagno dei cento cavalli”, the biggest tree in Europe, 20 min by car to Taormina, the “Pearl of the Ionian”, 15 min to Acireale, 30 min to Catania, Acitrezza and Acicastello. Being located on the slopes of Mount Etna, you can easily reach the top of the highest volcano in Europe in few minutes. Arraged excursiones will allow you to visit the volcano safely and in a relaxing atmosphere. Fondachello gravelly shore is only 15 minutes far by car. Day trip can be organised to
- Siracusa with its Greek theatre,
- Noto and its baroque style,
Agrigento and its “Valle dei templi”.

Just like the pictures

The cottage is just like the photo's , very pretty, floor tiling throughout making the it very cool on hot sunny days. Excellent views of Mount Etna, and the coast as the village is on a hill side. Plenty of site seeing available, Mount Enta day trip a must. The owners are a very nice couple who showed us around the cottage,explaining all we needed to know, a welcoming gift of Coffee & biscuits, also a basket of fresh lemons picked from his garden was left in the kitchen for us. Great holiday, excellent weather and good clean will maintained property would recommend.
