Fabulous home beautiful inside and out highly recommended
Very hospitable hosts thank you Luc and Genevieve!. A very comfortable and beautifully designed home in a gorgeous area. Fabulous pool with amazing views
Another wonderful stay!
After spending a week at this wonderful property last year we were lucky enough to be able to spend two weeks at La Truffiere this year. Once again we had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everything about the property is fab, from the pool and grounds, to the wonderfully equipped kitchen and location near Les Eyzies-de-Tayac. Luc is a wonderful host, ably supported by his lovely mother and father, who live close by and are on hand if you need anything. Very little can compare to the view over the surrounding valleys and oak forests as you enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. We will most definitely be returning (again)!
The house was extraordinary and the owners are simply charming and accommodating. We miss the house already and are planning to return soon in the future.
Our stay was perfect. Beautiful home with trails, a boulangerie, prehistoric caves, and canoeing right nearby! Alain was responsive and made us feel welcome.
The property and home are spectacular.
Beautiful, property, view and home. Best equipped home that we have stayed in. Enjoyed the heated pool. There is lots to do in the area. Hosts Luc and Alain are terrific. Really couldn't say more . It's a 5 Plus. We were 4 couples and we all enjoyed it immensely.
Les Eyzies de Tayac, a prehistoric centre of culture, has been classed by the Unesco among world cultural heritage. You will find a collection of prehistorical evidence as well as world renowned archaeological and environmental sites in countryside where nature seems to attend to man's pleasure...The cave paintings of Lascaux, a unique presentation of prehistoric art, displays Cro-Magnon's life as hunter and artist, as warrior and painter, an inestimable insight not to be missed. The cave paintings of Lascaux are very near the luxurious and charming house of the Truffière. Thereby it will be extremely easy to go and visit those caves and museums. At the heart of the Périgord Noir is the fantastic medieval and historical town of Sarlat. With the highest number of classified historical buildings per square meter in Europe. Its colorful Saturday market is a must. Discover the pedestrian circuit through the old part of town at the tourist office, as it is such a pretty, romantic walk.
