Enjoy the convenience of being close to everything! Park your car, you don't need it. Enjoy the world famous husk restaurant (our neighbor) or take a short stroll to battery park. We are located in the heart of the attractions with countless shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and tourist sites within walking distance... Real walking distance, not miles, but blocks. Our home is centrally located in the historic district very close to intersection of queen st. And king st. Which puts you in the middle of the action. Want to go further? Hop on the provided bikes and access the distant reaches of the city. It's all close.

I don't mind admitting it, we are spoiled. When we escape to our home in charleston, we want the best! We insisted on high quality linens and super comfortable mattresses. I trust you will find everything in the house to be brand new and of high quality, because it is. Enjoy our oasis and spoil yourself!

We love Charleston. It's so exciting! We like the idea of parking our car and using our two feet to get everywhere we need. We love the history of our home and the immediate area. From the local farmers market on Saturday mornings with our family to the evening strolls and fine dining at night Charleston is truly full of charm!

What makes this apartment unique

Location, location, location. The oldest grocery in charleston, queen st. Grocery, is located across the street. Wake up and grab a cup of fresh coffee or stop in for the cuban at lunch. We are less than 2 blocks away from the infamous husk restaurant. Here, we are a short walking distance to everywhere you want to be.

Unbeatable location!

We had a group of 4 adults and 1 baby. We booked another property through this host and it was a double booking. He was kind enough to offer 2 adjacent 1 bedroom apartments to us for the same price.

Both apartments had the classic Charleston charm with updated amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the location was unbeatable!

Several people made comments about the noise level so I was hesitant traveling with my 9 month old son. In my opinion, the noise level was more than tolerable with the fantastic proximity to ALL of the things downtown Charleston has to offer. (Taking other reviews into account we did bring a white noise machine for sleeping)

We were able to take the bikes on a self-guided tour of Battery Park and other historical sites. Highly recommend this to everyone.

The only minor issue with the apartments was the cooling. Traveling in Charleston in mid-July, we were prepared to battle the heat but there were several times the apartment was up to 80 degrees inside. This was uncomfortable. The host does make note that the heating and cooling of the nineteenth century home is not as efficient as modern day. This in no way would keep us from returning to stay at this property again.

Very comfy bed, great kitchen, short walk to heart of Old Charleston. Could use a dresser in the bedroom for week-long stays. Overall, a good place to stay; we would book it again!

Nice Place

Our overall impression of the house was good.

Great location, the store across the street has great breakfast.

Few things if you are not a dog person there is a hint of K9 smell.

AC Condensers for the building are in the alley right behind the bed, if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem.

Overall cute place you are the 3rd unit in the building.

I would recommend labeling the rear door with the unit number, its is labeled from the front but not the rear.

And the rear is where you enter with your stuff upon first arrival.

Great having laundry, coffee maker, dishwasher, comfortable bed.
