Apartment with independent entrance. Roomy, perfect for more than one family. Terrace with view to the garden and the sea where you can take your meals and relax. Great location, just 150m from the beach and from the condo pool which has an ocean view. Lagos center is only a 10 minute walk away so you have no need to use your car.

Lovely, spacious apartment in excellent location

We hired this whole apartment for roughly the same price as one bedroom with a kitchenette in a hotel. Really glad we did as it was great to have the space (with a 7 month old baby and such a well stocked kitchen. Having access to the pool with such an awesome view was fab!

The owners were lovely and came to meet us and couldn't do enough for us.

The location is fab - so near to the beach and the centre. The apartment is ground floor with a lovely sea view.

Only downsides were the noise from the floor above us (not particularly bad, just a bit annoying), the lack of a heated pool (still warmer than the sea) and that you have to pay for sun loungers at the swimming pool (but we just camped in the shade on the grass for free).

Terrific place to stay

Maria’s apartment is spacious, beautifully maintained – her family use it regularly as a holiday home- and well-equipped. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms (although neither ensuite), a very large living area and a kitchen with a huge gas oven and cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, and lots of kitchen plates and utensils.

Outside, there’s a welcome outside shower to clean off after a beach visit, and another toilet, as well as a terrace with a table that can seat 8 people. It overlooks the quiet road leading into the development and, beyond that, a grassy area where people play.

The complex’s pool is as large as any I have used (there’s a small kiddies pool as well), and it’s a lovely pool. It’s bordered on two sides by grassy area. A few palm trees provide some shade. The pool is run by several people who can be a bit officious. You have to rent a lounger (3.50 Euros per day) from them. We didn’t – not so much for the cost, but the lack of shade as you would stay in the sun in the lounger if you did hire one. Additionally, the children in our group found it frustrating not to be able to use any balls or floats, despite the size of the pool.

By the pool, there’s a cafe, cocktail bar, and a kiosk within the pool complex selling ice cream and donuts.

The pool overlooks the stupendous Dona Ana beach. It’s stupendous not so much for its sand, which is fine, but its setting, with dramatic rocks rising from the ocean on both sides, and the clear water of the sea.

The old town of Lagos is a 12 minute walk downhill, and is busy and atmospheric at night – a great place to go repeatedly. It can be a bit of a slog walking back uphill at the end of an evening, however. You could get a taxi, but we found taxis in Lagos hard to secure.

Maria was very responsive to any questions we had and helped us on the day we left with trying to secure a taxi. We’d had to call over several days to try to book one for the 10 minute ride to the train.

Overall, this apartment is highly recommended.

Very nice property, very good location

We stayed there for a week. The apartment was very well equipped and we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, tidy, spacious and cozy for 6 adults and 2 children (3 and 4 years). The nicest Lagos beach, Dona Ana, was just in a walking distance, 3-5 minutes from the apartment. If we`ll come back to Lagos in the future, definately will stay there again and also suggest it to our friends. Greetings from Estonia! :)

Lagos is a quiet and pleasant city and surroundings of the apartment are really a natural beauty very suitable for a relaxing holiday and at the same time with various sports and activities appropriate for all ages. My apartment complements this general information with the necessary conditions for a good time. I would be happy to receive them back, as well as friends who want to visit this corner of Portugal

"The apartment is very spacious, clean and containing every amenity required for a comfortable holiday.
