great vacation house

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed the house and especially the location. Walk out the back door to the sand. Lots of space inside and out. Parking was a little tight because if construction going on but it worked.

Negatives: the house desperately needs a regular exterminator. Ants were everywhere.

I would suggest an outside shower to rinse sand off before entering the house.

Also the master is upstairs, where the shower head is extremely low. Like at my neck and im 5'10".

Other than those few things which arent a huge deal it was awesome. Really enjoyed our stay.

Location was very good house is a dump.

  • 2 of 5

House was clean inside, outside unkept with broken yard furniture yard was a mess and no lights. Inside the paneling was pealing off some of the walls some of the lights did not work only one TV was watchable. The curtains and blinds were bent and broken. Upstairs bathroom had no door nob the curtains in the master only covered half the window so at night no privacy the blinds are bent and broken. A third of the lights did not work. At best this house is a run down bad college apartment. The three beach chairs were broken, rusty unusable . To sum it up call in the wrecking ball the place has lived its life. At 7 am every morning the road crew started dumping dirt in front of the run down shack in front of the house. "That is called owners unit." One parking place. Also for the past 4 years the town is redoing Estero Blvd who is running this project? 100 miles of interstate highways are built in 4 years. Pitiful job. One other thing if you like cats there are plenty of them around this house, 4 as a matter of fact. Location to the beach and the back yard could be nice if they furnished it and cleaned it. Beware of falling coconuts.

Wonderful Beach

  • 4 of 5

The beach here is great. Fun to watch the pelicans feeding and the porpoise going by. The house is pretty run down; needs paint and repairs. A lot of the windows don't open, some don't have screens. Kitchen is not well equipped but passable (no hot pads, no scissors, not enough silverware, few knives. Master bedroom shares a bath with another bedroom upstairs. Downstairs there are 2 single bedded rooms that share a bath (unusual arrangement). No beach towles or beach lounge chairs are provided.

Not the customer service we expected!!!

  • 1 of 5

We arrived on Saturday afternoon as planed. There was no propone for the grill. Called vacation rental pros after being told we needed to change dinner plans we finally got the propane delivered. There was also a issue with the keyless entry where as it keep unlocking its self which was a large security issue. They did come on Sunday evening after many calls to several people to replace. There were no lights on the back of the house so after dark we had no use of the back yard at all no light to cook on the grill or enjoy the best feature of the property. This issue was not resolved all week even after many calls and several emails it was as if this company wanted us to think they had intentions to repair but didn't really care about the resolution at all. .No key's to the rear doors to access the beach. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Renter beware. The access to the beach and the sunsets were great.

Great location. Very large home making private time easy. master suite looks over Gulf. Beautiful grounds with palms for shade from the heat. Our beach front became the place to gather daily.
