I am a long time Fire Islander who turned Storm Sandy's complete destruction of our original home into our dream of an oceanfront front log Cabin.
I first came to Fire Island as a child with my family. Our love for the island and its' unique qualities has made us return year after year. After decades of renting, we finally bought a house in 2004. The "shack" on the beach is what I called it. It was a shack, but it was ours.
After storm Sandy we built the cape cod style home we had always dreamed of in 100% wood, a log cabin.
We hope you enjoy and appreciate it as much as we do.
