I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I lived in the cottage for 7 years and loved it. I know the city very well. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. I have recently been in VRBO vacation rentals in Morro Bay, CA, Ixtapa, Mexico, Toronto and Washington D.C. My family and I had great experiences and I hope to provide the same experience for you while you are in Los Angeles. I've been managing rental properties in the city for over 20 years. I love the convenient location. You can take a walk in the lovely neighborhood of Cheviot Hills or run across the street for coffee, groceries, mail center and restaurants. Easy access on or off the 10 Freeway which will take you straight to the beach or head East to Downtown L.A. Property was custom built and is spacious and comfortable. Expo Metro Line opening up May 20th, 2016 one and a half block away. You can go straight into Santa Monica or downtown L.A on this line.
Car not necessary. Bus and Metro stop close by. Metro Stop 1/2 a mile away. Soon to be 1 1/2 blocks away.
Supermarket, RiteAid pharmacy, Starbucks, mail center, Papa John's Pizza, Subway Sandwiches, Sushi and Chinese restaurant across the street.
Very clean and everything was working. We also appreciated the Vons' discount card. We were very pleased.
We were traveling California as a family of four including 2 adults, one 9 year old and an 18 month old baby. After 2 weeks of hotel rooms it was a huge relief to be able to settle into this little house for a week. From our initial contact Teresa was very helpful. The house is delightful and Teresa had thoughtfully supplied every thing domestically that we could possibly need. The supermarket and Starbucks over the road were very handy too. We had a hire car and it was very easy to get on and off the motorways. It was situated near the train station if you did need to use public transport. I would highly recommend this property to anyone needing accommodation in Los Angeles.
Our stay at Teresa's house was awesome. The house was neat, clean, well furnished and is in a great location. I was with three SMC students on an apartment hunting trip. Teresa's house provided the perfect home base for our trip. I would love to stay again on my next visit.
This cottage was perfect for us. Roomy, very well equipped, nice appliances, comfortable beds and bedding. It was a super CLEAN home away from home. We took the bus to UCLA for our daughter's graduation and it was very convenient. The shopping center and Starbucks right across the street were great. Teresa was completely available from booking to arrival for questions and suggestions. We would stay here again when visiting our daughter at UCLA while she begins work on research in Biochemistry!
We enjoyed Teresa’s home very much. Everything worked great, it was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, very comfortable. The beds were also amazingly comfortable.
The shopping center across the street was very handy- Von’s, Starbucks, Subway, Rite-Aid and a place where I went and printed a bunch of documents. Location was great, just a few feet from the I-10 at National. A nice walk to In-And-Out. I recommend a walk up and down the Cheviot Hills for exercise!
We will look first at Teresa’s house the next time we return to L.A.
My husband, adult son, preschool grandsons, and I recently stayed at this property. It worked very well for us. Very well-equipped kitchen. Enough yard for the kids to play. Comfortable beds. Walk to market, pizza, drug store, Starbucks. Close to freeway entrance and soon to Expo rail line. Wonderful responsive owner who was always available but never hovering. Would definitely stay there again!
