About Jerry and Karin

Jerry and I, Karin, met and married in Yakima. We spent 5 years in Wenatchee and currently reside in Spokane, WA. We love camping, boating and being in the outdoors! I am a Realtor and Jerry drives truck and farms. It's been a dream of ours to own our own lake place and enjoy sharing the experience with others. We love our little cabin in the woods and hope you find it as fun and relaxing as we do!

Jerry and Karin purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Jerry and Karin chose Washington

We choose this cabin specifically for the area and view. We've spent several years boating on Lake Roosevelt and camping out on the beaches. We love this area of Lake Roosevelt because the water tends to be calm and there's not a lot of boat traffic.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the Enterprise Beach and have found one of the biggest benefits to this beach is its size and seclusion. Yes, July, August and beginning of September you will find people enjoying it; but the remainder of the year there's rarely anyone here! Many times we've been the only ones around and it's so quiet and peaceful!

Beautiful Setting!

  • 5 of 5

A very lovely cabin! It offers everything you need for a very comfortable stay. My husband and I booked the cabin for 8 days! Our first three days were beautiful, couldn't ask for better weather. Unfortunately, the rest of the time the entire area was filled with smoke from fires in British Columbia. The smoke was thick and heavy completely covering our lovely view of the lake and mountains. We made the best of it and took beautiful scenic drives, visiting historic sites.

If you are wanting to get away from everything, this cabin is what you need. This place calms the soul🌼?

Thank you Jerry and Karin for your hospitality, and special thanks from our dog Ralphie for the dog treats and a ball to chase around.

Well kept, beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. The cabin is small just as advertised but who sits in a cabin when you have that view?! We spent a number of hours reading on the deck, grilling, laughing and enjoying the beauty and quiet. There is quick access to the lake. You can walk it (we did) but it takes a little over 20 minutes back up the hill. There was a near by fire that took out the power for a day and the owners were awesome about calling to check on us.

Owner's Response: We are so happy you enjoyed your time! We too find spending time on the spacious deck relaxing and fun. Hope you had a chance to use the provided propane fire place on the deck at night! Thank you so much for being understanding about the power outage and glad it all worked out. We will be refunding you a nights stay due to the inconvenience. Please come back, we will reimburse any repeating guests service fee the booking service charges.

Nice view, but the gates were tedious.

  • 3 of 5

The cabin isn't situated on the property to take advantage of the sunlight. So mornings are very cold on the porch. The cabin was a bit small for us. Very well appointed but small. We will not be back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. Our cabin does face North to take in the full view of the lake. I like to have the sun shine on me while eating breakfast too, so I tend to pull my chair out in front of the cabin off the porch to take in the sun while I eat. or we have proved a large picnic table that can be moved to a sunny location. We also provide propane and a propane fire pit on the porch that can be used year around for your comfort. We stayed this past weekend for the 4th and I was up at 6 am. The sunrise was causing the distant mountains and sky to look pastel and in the evening when the sun was setting it was shining off the white cliffs in the distance and was breathtaking. We do not require the gate at the cabin to be closed while you are staying, but yes the security gates coming into the neighborhood are required to be closed. There are talks of getting a remote gate and that would be a benefit. The cabin is small and stated so on the listing, but very private and on 13 acres. We plan on putting walking trails throughout the property to enjoy. We love the pine bedroom with a queen size bed that can be easily walked around. What we love about our bathroom is the heated fan and our nice big shower. Although we would have liked a bigger sink, it does the job. The great thing about the cabin is the tall ceiling in the main room and the vaulted ceiling in the bedroom with a fan for your comfort and a window AC unit to keep it cool. We are sorry you did't quite enjoy the cabin as we do, it's not for everyone. Let us know if you need a recommendation for a place that may better suit your needs. We are familiar with other rentals on the lake that we could direct you too. The price may be a bit more for a larger place, but I'm sure we could help direct you to a nice place. Warmly, Jerry and Karin

Super peaceful cabin with amazing view

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our one year anniversary, his birthday and the end of my maternity leave. We brought our three month old baby and this cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It's small in size but has everything you need for a comfortable stay - kitchen w/ all cooking essentials, bathroom with shower and a deck with the prettiest view of Lake Roosevelt. We would definitely recommend this cabin to a small family looking to get away from technology and spend some quality time together.

The majestic Columbia River and vast Lake Roosevelt boast a wonderful recreational paradise! With plenty of hiking opportunities, hanging out on the hammock, fishing, hunting, jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, or heading down to the casino, there's plenty to do! During the summer you have to check out Fort Spokane!

We find this a wonderful romantic get-away with rarely anyone on the beach (except for peak summer times). There's so much to explore we are still finding out things to do and will keep adding to the list! We've been told there's tons of snowmobiling around and plenty of hunting opportunities. Let us connect you with a hunting guide if you are unfamiliar with the area.

Our cabin is a true all wood quaint place to stay with all the amenities to enjoy some peace and quite.

The closest grocery store is in Fruitland or Hunters, North on Hwy 25. You'll find just about anything you need there along with friendly helpful staff.
