Guestbook comments from the owner

The house is peaceful and large with lots of space and room for tons of people. We were only 2 but we loved to see the wild life daily. There is a unique quality to this valley.

Location

The Pueblo Mountain Park is only a mile up the road and is full of hiking trails. The San Isabel lake is about 30 minutes away and offers great fishing. There are other streams and lakes around where more fishing can be found.

Wonderful cottage in Beulah

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to stay! This area is rather quiet, yet close enough to drive to sights and entertainment if needed. The house was vey clean, the beds comfortable and the atmosphere was great. We watched the deer from the front porch, sitting in one of the four rockers provided by the owner. This place had a full size frig, dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. There are dishes and anything one would need to cook meals.

I would recommend that you bring your videos and/or your music as there is no television programming available, you cannot receive calls as there is no service available, at least we were unable get calls . If your looking for a nice secluded place to stay this it is!

Relaxing visit in a comfortable cabin

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed staying at this cabin! Location is close to Pueblo Mountain Park and San Isabel National Forest with lots of great hiking trails in both places. We saw lots of mule deer in the yard and several bird species. Wildflowers were plentiful on the property. The porch is a wonderful place to sit and read or watch nature. The cabin is well-appointed, roomy, and furnished nicely. The piano and music in the bench is a nice touch!

Compared to some cabins we have visited, this one is close to others and close to the road, but the area is reasonably quiet and certainly beautiful. The driveway was a challenge after recent record rainfall, but Brenda told us someone was coming to repair it soon.

Peaceful Getaway

  • 4 of 5

I loved this renovated cabin. Whoever did the LR/DR/BR/BA staging did a great job. The front porch with the red rocking chairs is the topper - you can rock yourself to sleep out there if you want to. If you're active, there's plenty of wilderness to hike, and cycling around the area is fun too. The kitchen has most of the basics; bring some good knives if you're planning on doing gourmet cooking. There's a French Press for coffee. The San Isabel Wilderness is beautiful. For shorter hikes (and picnics) the Pueblo Mountain Park with its beautiful historic buildings is only a mile up the road. There were deer grazing in front of the house while we were there. It was hot during our stay but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the open windows (also very pretty) kept us cool. Want to relax? Try this cabin!

Cabin In The Woods

  • 4 of 5

What a great place!

Relaxing on the comfortable rockers on the porch, with the views of the sun setting behind the mountains directly across the valley were spectacular.

We saw numerous wild turkey and deer every morning and afternoons. Also, the birds were making good use of the numerous bird houses attached to the pines all around the cabin.

The cabin is well-furnished and quite comfortable. The master bath shower stall is a little smallish but ok and will not keep us from returning.
