The flat, wide and bright, is ideal for two couples or two families and can comfortably accommodate small groups of six to eight people. It is located on the third and last floor of a nineteenth century building, located in a lively and trendy neighbourhood, but also rich in history and tradition.
The building is well-maintained, attractive and, especially the court, full of charm, ideal for living really the spirit of the city. There is no elevator, but the stairs are straightforward and the gallery, typical of old Pest, is a really nice place, where you can take a drink or even have breakfast.
The apartment, fully restored in 2008, is tastefully furnished, respecting the particular nature of the building. The living room of 36 square meters is equipped with a large dining table and two sofa, which can be converted into two large beds. A master bedroom has a private bathroom (shower and toilet), the other room has two single beds that can be united and used as a double bed, the second bathroom (with shower and toilet) is in the corridor, just outside the door of this second room. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can easily cook for several people.
The heating is autonomous, the apartment is comfortable and warm in winter and cool and ventilated in summer. It is located in Kiraly Street, at the boarders of the old Jewish ghetto, in an almost pedestrian area. Kiraly street is full of bars, restaurants, cultural sites, art galleries and elegant shops.
In the immediate surroundings you can visit many important monuments (The Academy of Music, the Cathedral, the Synagogue, the Opera House, the National Museum, etc. ..). or enjoy bars and restaurants in the crowded Listz square, but you can also catch the flavour of the old neighbourhood with its shops, kosher restaurants, markets where you can still meet peasants in traditional dresses. At few minutes walk you can visit the most famous 'ruin bar' in the city.
The city centre can easily be reached on foot and the area is well served by three lines of metro plus buses and trams.
