The Apt. is in the perfect LA location, it's in a neighborhood in the lower Hollywood Hills on the Valley side right by Universal Studios, but only minutes from Hollywood. Vintage homes and big trees give you a peaceful place to hang your hat while you explore big city adventures. Close to all amenities, supermarket, drug stores & shopping. The apartment has been completely remodeled and is tucked under a 1929 original 2 bedroom Spanish house. The space is cozy but has everything you'll need: a separate bedroom, wifi, flat screen screen TV, custom bathroom and shower, microwave, hi-tech electric induction stove, and a full size refrigerator. A large private deck is steps away, equipped with a propane barbecue, table and chairs for 4 shaded by a large umbrella, and a comfortable lounge chair for enjoying the wonderful Los Angeles climate. You have your own gated private entrance and a parking spot right in front of the garage. There are about a dozen steps up to the Apt. from street level.

great location, had everything we could hope for!

We loved staying here, walking distance to breakfast restaurants & universal studios and a quick drive to Hollywood. One thing was that while we were away from the property, we came back and the TV was on and recording family guy. Creeped us out a bit like someone had been in there, but could have been programed to do that?

Not sure.

Owner's Response: I must say that's a first, I have no idea how that could have happened, yes it was probably my last guest who set the auto recording up but I still don't understand how the TV could turn itself on. No one ever enters the Apt. without the guests permission... ever! Anyway, glad you had a good time LA. Bruce

Cozy, Cute, and Efficient

All the comforts of home: a very comfortable queen bed, clean bathroom with a cool stall-less shower, a futon couch with big screen TV, and a fully functional kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster oven, and more. Cooking utensils are all there. The space is small - about 300 square feet - but it feels bigger, although two people are probably the maximum occupancy without sacrificing privacy. The location is in a wooded, hillside neighborhood with no traffic noise; you awake in the morning to the sounds of birds singing. The outdoor patio space is a plus for relaxing or dining. I would definitely return to this location in the future. Another thoughtful touch, there are numerous books with suggested outings and things to do while in Los Angeles for those who need some assistance in finding local attractions. It's close to Ventura Blvd., Universal Studios and Citywalk, Hollywood, as well as the Ventura and Hollywood Freeways. A quiet retreat in the midst of the big city.
