Family owned apartment in Lauterbrunnen. One bedroom with 2 singles and another single which can be converted to a double.Living room has sofa bed, international satellite TV, DVD player, stereo and docking station. Bathroom with bath and power shower. Kitchen is small but well equipped with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Private balcony overlooking Staubbach waterfall. Private basement utility and store room with washing machine and dryer. Shared games room with table tennis, bats and balls are supplied. Sauna is shared and costs 1Chf. Superfast Wi-Fi throughout. Ski and boot room in basement. Private off road, covered parking bay.
Located at end of village. Lauterbrunnen shops are 8 min walk and station 15 min. Station links by cable car to Murren and cog railway to Wengen and the ski slopes above. Bus stops are approx. 50m from front door and goes to Lauterbrunnen station and on to Stechelberg cable car station, from where you can get to Murren and the top of the Schilthorn. Property suits couple or family with children. Easy access to skiing in the Bernese Oberland, walking and hiking all year plus other outdoor pursuits.
Skiing and winter sports: Ski hire can be obtained from Crystal Sport in the village on the main street, ski passes obtained from the train station and cable car station at Stechelberg. Skiing in Wengen, Murren and Grindelwald. Good skiing for beginners as well as more competent skiers. Ski schools in all three resorts. Cross country skiing in the valley. Ice skating in Wengen and Murren. Sports centre (including pool) in Murren. Swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) in Lauterbrunnen. Tennis courts in Lauterbrunne, Wengen and Murren.

We thorouhly enjoyed our stay at Ey Hus. Located just outside the town, near the church, it is nice and quiet but only a 10 min walk to the trainstation and shop. Bus stops almost in front of the door for those who dont want to walk. Ideal for a small family or couple. Well equipped kitchen with basic essentials offerd by host (sugar, dishwasher cubes,sponges, detergent) which we highly appreciated and easy to use washer and dryer. The manager Luis is extremely friendly and helpful. We spent many an evening on the small terrace overlooking the stream, falls and church. We highly recommend this property! It fully meets the description given on the website with an extra touch of hospitality. Thanks for the chocolats and wine 😀

We really enjoyed our stay in Switzerland. This apartment is ideally located to easily reach everything the Bernese Oberland has to offer in summer. It also has all the necessary amenities for a family of four traveling light. We made great use of the kitchen, washer, dryer, and especially the balcony...the view from the apartment is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this comfortable flat, conveniently located in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Everything was well though out. We were trying to save money by eating out just once (Camping Jungfrau restaurant was wonderful) during our five night stay, and the kitchen had all of the cookware and accessories that made this very easy. The combination key box made our late arrival easy. Helena came by and answered all of our questions the next day. She was very well informed and was a big help in helping us feel at home and decide what to do during our stay. All in all a great holiday.
The 5 stars say it all. Both owner and property manager were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment had everything we needed. Laundry room was especially helpful to have as we stayed almost a week. From Lauterbrunnen train station, it was an easy 15 minute walk with rolling luggage. 10 minutes if you take the short cut without big luggage. Easy and quick access to bus stop (1 minute walk). Grocery store in town and camp close to apartment. Easy trail leading up to the falls you see behind the apartment. We also did a walk to Trummelbach Falls along the river behind the apartment. It was easy walk and takes about 45 minute brisk walk. Again, great town and place to stay.
A charming place located in the center Switzerland. Nearly everywhere with everything you need in an apartment equipped with all the best. Wonderful town with lots of shops, supermarket, bank, etc. Worth every penny.
Lauterbrunnen is situated in the valley below Wengen and Murren with easy access to Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn. It is a picturesque traditional Swiss village with some bars, hotels with excellent restaurants and shops including a bakery, a butcher, COOP supermarket, ski wear and hire and cycle hire. There is an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and mini golf. Interlaken and Grindelwald 10 miles away by car or train. Spectacular alpine flowers in the spring, great family skiing in winter and wonderful walking all year round. Local attractions are Trummelbach Falls, Jungfraujoch (highest mountain station in the world), Schynigge Platte (an oasis of alpine flowers), Schilthorn with revolving restaurant (as seen in vintage James Bond) home of the Lauberhorn down hill ski race in Jan and Mystery theme park at Interlaken.
