About the property

The "borie of Le Cause" is a unique and unusual building, stone-built and roofed following the tradition of dry-stone structures used by shepherds and can be found in the country under the name of "gariotte" or "borie" according to the region.

It has an 8 shaped structure, offers all conveniences... and looks as if it had been always been sitting here.

The "borie" sits in peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Next to it a garden of trimmed box treees nests the swimming pool.

What an amazing place to stay, especially when you realise that the cottage was built by Jean Paul himself. Annie and Jean Paul were the perfect hosts, delightful, charming and helpful without being at all intrusive. Our only disappointment was that we only got to use the fantastic pool once as our stay was so short and the weather not great. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will be back! Thanks for a lovely stay. Rob & Claire

Quaint, no frills, lovely setting.

  • 5 of 5

We loved it here. Annie and Jean -Paul were perfect hosts and my husband in particular was very impressed with the workmanship of Jean-Paul, a true artiste.

The pool area is perfect, the water could be a bit warmer but I think in the height of summer would be lovely. It didn't stop us going in when the sun shone.

We will be back, hopefully.

Borie typique bien ancrée dans le paysage

  • 5 of 5

Magnifique !!!!!!

  • 5 of 5
