Welcome to Kinsale apartment. This homey, three-bedroom self-catering unit is conveniently situated at the edge of town centre, close to dining, pubs, gentle walks, and shopping. Perched above , The Pantry Kinsale, our apartment is directly across from St. Multose Church, a local historic monument. Only 20 minutes from Cork County airport, in a quiet location and next to a free car park, this self-catering unit has two double bedrooms and a single, all ensuite. The newly refurbished kitchen is fully equipped, including washer, dishwasher and microwave. After a day's adventure visiting local Cork County castles, beaches or scenic countryside, sit back in a relaxed open style living room which includes a gas fireplace and TV/VCR/DVD unit. The TV is on satellite and wifi is provided. We provide atablet for use, if needed.

We moved to Ireland in 2006 but fell in love with Kinsale in 2000. We are both educators, Alana at the doctoral level is a PhD professor and mentor and Margie works with younger learners. We own and manage our rental apartment and love being active locally. Alana grew up in Denver, Colorado and Margie was born and raised in San Francisco, California. We come from large extended families and love to play, travel and explore as well as work and participate in our local community.

We purchased this property because of its location. We wished to have an apartment for family visitors as well as for paying guests. Over 1100 people have stayed in the apartment since we opened our apartment as a 'home away from home' ten years ago in March 2006.
The apartment is homey, exceptionally clean and very well fitted, in particlar the kitchen and living room amenities. It has all the extras of a home - wifi, books, dvds, satellite tv, stereo, fireplace and games as well.
Wow! What a relaxing visit and wonderful town. The apartment was compact and had everything we needed.
Not my first trip to Kinsale (the gourmet capital of Ireland) but a first time in this apartment.A lovely welcome from Margie (the owner).Margie kept me updated on every aspect of the apartment leading up to the week we arrived.The maps,instructions to the apartment were easy to read and accurate.The apartment was clean,very welcoming and spacious.Everything we needed was in the apartment.The location of the apartment was excellent with the centre of Kinsale was just a few minutes away.Will certainly stay again.Thanks Margie.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in the efficient, clean and perfectly located apartment in the heart of charming Kinsale village. Margie, the co-owner was lovely and went out of her way to spend time with us going over everything even though there is a detailed instruction book on how everything in the apartment works. We fell in love with Kinsale thanks to our stay here and are definitely going back soon and we will again stay at this cool little spot.
We loved everything about this property in Kinsale. We made breakfast every morning in the well equipped kitchen and relaxed every evening in the cozy living room. We sleep very well in the comfortable bedrooms. We were never bothered by street noise. It was easy to walk to town to enjoy the many bakeries, cafes and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Kinsale.
THIS KINSALE APARTMENT WAS PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS. GREAT LOCATION WITH A CLOSE WALK TO ALL BUT STILL QUIET WITH THE NICE CHURCH VIEW AS WELL. THE PANTRY CAFE BELOW WAS A REAL PLUS AND WELL WORTH A BRUNCH OR LUNCH. (WE HAD BOTH) PARKING WAS ALSO VERY EASY. I WOULD STAY AGAIN FOR SURE.
If you are looking for an apartment with a great view and within walking distance of the town, this is the place. The Apartment is spacious and well kept. The owner was really nice and accommodating. She answered quite a few questions timely and prepared a nice welcome pack before we arrived. It is very impressive and well organized to make us feel like home. Will definitely recommend it to our friends.
Check in was super easy as they have a lock box, parking right next door in the free car park. Apt. well appointed and super well located. Close to the SuperValue grocery, lots of good restaurants and nice running from Charles Fort to James Fort. Quiet yet central. Would rent here again. Only bad thing was that we were here only 3 nights and really should have stayed at least week. Will definitely return to Kinsale and hopefully this apt.
The seaside town of Kinsale offers a variety of holiday adventures. Whether your pleasure is hiking, golfing, beach combing, boating, shopping, strolling along the harbour or dining and pubbing, Kinsale is Ireland's favourite holiday location and considered by many to be the culinary capital of Ireland. A 20 minute drive from Cork County International airport, or 30 minutes to Cork city centre, Kinsale allows visitors all the conveniences of the big city within a rural seaside environment. In the Kinsale area you can rent kayaks, sailboats, yachts, horses, bikes or golf equipment -- so come ready to relax, explore and play. Castles abound in Cork County as do standing stones and other historic monuments. National heritage sites with historical museums dedicated to emigration and the famine are within a 60-75 minute drive in Cobh and Skibereen. Blarney Castle and woolen mills are a 45 minute drive. Near Shannon airport is Bunratty Castle, winery and Folk Park, about a 2 1/2 hour drive.
